  • Publication number: 20240118061
Abstract: Shaped charge devices, systems, and related methods of use. A housing sheet is configurable to form at least part of a shaped charge enclosure enclosing a shaped charge and biasing an explosion in a desired direction. The housing sheet can include one or more incisions in at least one surface thereof. The housing sheet can have at least one connection mechanism integrally formed therein, and the housing sheet can be configurable to form a plurality of sizes of shaped charge housing portions. The housing sheet can also provide for forming a plurality of dimensions of the shaped charge enclosure.

  • Patent number: 7699562
Abstract: A liner assembly (322) for a sand trap (10) includes a retainer layer (329) that is positioned between a base (18) of the sand trap (10) and a filling material (16) within a cavity (13) of the sand trap (10). The retainer layer (329) is covered by the filling material (16) so that the retainer layer (329) is substantially unexposed. The retainer layer (329) includes a plurality of spaced apart projections (330) that can be formed from plastic, such as synthetic turf material. In certain embodiments, the filling material (16) fills the spaces between the projections (330). The retainer layer (329) can be substantially water impermeable and can cover at least approximately a majority of the surface area of the cavity (13). The retainer layer (329) can be positioned within the cavity at an angle (328) that is at least 10 degrees relative to the horizontal (300).

  • Patent number: 7399145
Abstract: A liner assembly (222A) for a sand trap (10) having a perimeter (12) that defines a cavity (13) and a substrate (18) within the cavity (13) includes a first layer (230A) and a second layer (232A). The first layer (230A) is positioned on the substrate (18) and can be formed from a substantially water-permeable material. The second layer (232A) can be formed from a substantially water-impermeable material and is applied to the first layer (230A). The second layer (232A) can be applied to the first layer (230A) as a liquid, such as a polyurea material. In one embodiment, at least one of the layers (230A, 232A) extends within the substrate (18) at least partially outside the perimeter (12) of the sand trap (10). The second layer (232A) can include an aggregate material that is integrally formed as part of the second layer (232A).
