The system uses standard management protocols to interface with a time synchronization management information base, which in turn interfaces with a time synchronization services module. A uniform and standard mechanism for managing time synchronization services is provided, which includes a user interface which eliminates the need to learn console commands and eases the administration of time synchronization services.
