Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide materials and methods for induced precipitation recycling, including establishing afforestation plots and harvesting natural resources. Certain embodiments disclosed herein include targeted development and implementation of an environmentally sustainable precipitation recycling program to ameliorate chronic regional water shortages and drought conditions. In other embodiments, methods and systems disclosed provide for synergistic ecological benefits, including, but not limited to, methods for wastewater treatment, carbon sequestration, storm water management, groundwater recharge and phytoremediation.
