  • Patent number: 7568354
Abstract: An insulated ice making compartment is provided in the fresh food compartment of a bottom mount refrigerator. The ice making compartment may be integrally formed with the liner of the fresh food compartment, or alternatively, may be modular for installation anywhere in the fresh food compartment. A removable bin assembly with a front cover normally seals the ice making compartment to maintain the temperature in the compartment. A cold air duct formed in the rear wall of the refrigerator supplies cold air from the freezer compartment to the ice making compartment. A return air duct directs a portion of the air from the ice making compartment back to the freezer compartment. An air vent in the ice making compartment directs another portion of air into the fresh food compartment. A control system provides for controlling refrigerator functions in a manner that promotes energy efficiency. The refrigerator has an improved water fill tube for the ice maker.

  • Publication number: 20090131613
Abstract: A method for the preparation of a supported polymerisation catalyst system, comprises: (1) contacting together in a suitable solvent (a) a transition metal polymerisation talyst and (b) a cocatalyst, (2) contacting the mixture from step (1) with a porous support material, and (3) removing the solvent is characterised in that the molar ratio of cocatalyst to transition metal catalyst is <10:1. The preferred polymerisation catalysts are transition metal compounds in particular metallocene complexes. Premixing the catalyst components before addition to the support leads to certain advantages in particular a more facile method of preparation without any loss in activity.

  • Publication number: 20090095603
Abstract: An engine start system for use with a ground engaging vehicle, the system including an input device, a processing circuit, a display and an engine controller unit. The input device produces a signal when depressed, the signal initiates the application of electrical power to the engine start system. The processing circuit is activated by the application of electrical power thereto. The display is communicatively coupled with the processing circuit. The input device produces another signal when depressed. The other signal is detected by the processing circuit and the processing circuit, in response to the other signal, sends either a PIN request notice to the display or a start signal to the engine controller unit.

  • Publication number: 20090066846
Abstract: According to various embodiments, an event production kit is provided that includes storage cases for storing production equipment, such as cameras, monitors, and microphones, and an electronic production equipment case for storing an audio mixer, a video switcher, and computers for encoding and distributing the production. In addition, in one embodiment, the electronic production equipment case includes a vertical panel that includes a plurality of ports that are pre-wired to the audio mixer, video switcher, and the computers for coupling the production equipment together. The storage cases and the pre-wired panel facilitate transporting the kit to the event location and reduce the amount of time and resources required for setting up the equipment prior to the event, according to various embodiments. In addition, the selection of the type of equipment included in the kit, according to one embodiment, provides for a high quality, lower cost production than is currently available.

  • Publication number: 20090070407
Abstract: According to various embodiments, an event management system is provided that provides a single interface through which a production team can schedule a production of an event, produce the production of the event, and direct distribution of the production. For example, in one embodiment, the event management system provides a web interface through which a member of the production team can create, or build an event, by specifying the name of the event, type of event, specific details about the event, whether the event will be broadcast live, and the date and time of the broadcast for the event. The event management system stores this information and provides at least a portion of it to a distributor that will be distributing (or broadcasting) the event to viewers. In addition, the event management system displays a pre-production checklist to guide the production team through the testing and production set-up process.

The FDT assemblies include a base and a cover that define a tongue and groove that selectively engage to seal the base and cover. The FDT assemblies also include a mounting plate for mounting of the base and cover, as well as a mounting plate extension for mounting of a skirt. The skirt provides slack storage for drop cables exiting the FDT. The components of the FDT assembly are selectively interlockable to prevent unauthorized access to the interior cavity of the base and cover and to the slack storage area of the skirt.
