  • Patent number: 11922618
Abstract: Methods and system for guiding user data capture during a scan of a vehicle using a mobile device are disclosed. A user may scan a vehicle using a camera or other sensors of the mobile device to capture data from which a three-dimensional virtual model may be generated. During the scanning process, models may be generated and evaluated according to quality metrics. Visual cues may be determined and presented to the user during scanning to indicate areas sufficiently scanned or areas requiring additional scanning to meet data quality requirements for model generation. Damage to vehicle components may be identified by analysis of the generated model, and addition data capture or user annotation entry may be directed based upon the identified damage.

  • Publication number: 20070020971
Abstract: A fibre optic module has a PCB with high frequency tracks. The PCB is housed within a housing having top and bottom parts, each having a series of metallized ridges. The PBC has through holes filled with solder. Thus, there is a series of electrical interconnections through the PBC, and the total length of any enclosed periphery is much shorter than the full periphery of the board so that high frequencies are attenuated.

  • Patent number: 6920050
Abstract: A dummy module is inserted into an open slot in a modular rack to provide a cover for that slot. The dummy module is formed of the same housing as an operational module and contains a similar PCB as an operational module, without all the electrical and electronic components mounted thereon that an operational module would have. The PCB may have no components and no electrical tracks thereon, or it may be provided with some limited functionality. The PCB may have a memory device, such as an Electrically Erasable Programmable Read only Memory (EEPROM) mounted thereon, with at least an electrical track leading thereto from the connector block to enable a rack controller to interrogate the EEPROM. Thus, the rack controller would receive a positive identification from the EEPROM that the particular slot is empty, rather than simply trying to interrogate the slot and receiving no answer whatsoever.

  • Publication number: 20040066639
Abstract: A dummy module (11) is inserted into an open slot (2) in a modular rack (1) to provide a cover for that slot (2). The dummy module (11) is formed of the same housing (12) as an operational module and contains a similar PCB (8) as an operational module, except that the PCB will not have all the electrical and electronic components mounted thereon that an operational module would have. The PCB (8) may be completely bare of all components and have no electrical tracks thereon, or it may be provided with some limited functionality. For example, the PCB (8) may have a memory device, such as an Electrically Erasable Programmable Read only Memory (EEPROM) (14), mounted thereon, with at least an electrical track leading thereto from the connector block (6) to enable a rack controller to interrogate the EEPROM (14).
