Patent number: 11352829Abstract: A window assembly for installing in a window framing (also referred to as a “window casing”) of a wall of a building. The window assembly is configured to have a frameless appearance when installed with the finish surround installed around the interior and/or exterior of the window. The window assembly also allows the glass panel to be removed with a minimum of removal of the finish surround, such as without removing any of the finish surround, or only removing the finish surround around several sides of the only one of the interior or exterior of the window. For example, in most cases, only the interior finish surround around the right side and left side of the installed window frame needs to be removed to remove and replace the glass panel. Furthermore, the window assembly includes an integrated drain for draining moisture which leaks into the window assembly.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2020Date of Patent: June 7, 2022Assignee: Fleetwood Aluminum Products, Inc.Inventors: Mark S. McCoy, Joseph A. Zammit, Kevin M. Nguyen, Jordan James Robison, Gary P. Gumbleton, Nathan Douglas Baker

Patent number: 11002053Abstract: A sill track for sliding panels such as doors or windows in a door jamb or window jamb. The sill track mounts flush to the surrounding floors and has an integrated drainage system for preventing water from penetrating the sill track. The sill track comprises a base having walls to support flooring, a panel track for receiving a guide of a panel, such as wheels of a sliding glass door, and a weep channel wall forming a weep channel for draining water to below a top surface of the sill track. The walls of the base, the panel track and the weep channel wall are configured such that the flooring installed on the sill track, the panel track and the top of the weep channel wall are all flush with the surrounding flooring on the interior and exterior of the sill track.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2020Date of Patent: May 11, 2021Assignee: Fleetwood Aluminum Products, Inc.Inventors: Mark S. Patent number: 9355024Abstract: Systems and methods for nonvolatile memory (“NVM”) performance throttling are disclosed. Performance of an NVM system may be throttled to achieve particular data retention requirements. In particular, because higher storage temperatures tend to reduce the amount of time that data may be reliably stored in an NVM system, performance of the NVM system may be throttled to reduce system temperatures and increase data retention time.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2012Date of Patent: May 31, 2016Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Kevin M. Nguyen, David J. Yeh, Cheng P. Tan, Anthony Fai
