  • Publication number: 20220008046
Abstract: A biopsy system driver includes a motor having a rotatable output shaft, a support structure, a drive shaft, an elongate lead screw and a biopsy instrument drive member. The drive shaft is rotatably coupled to the support structure and includes or is otherwise operatively connected to the motor output shaft such that activation of the motor rotates the drive shaft. The elongate lead screw is coupled to the drive shaft such that rotation of the drive shaft rotates the lead screw about an axis of the lead screw. The lead screw is axially translatable relative to the drive shaft and to the support structure. The biopsy instrument drive member is threadably coupled to the lead screw such that rotation of the lead screw causes axial translation of one of the lead screw and biopsy instrument drive member relative to the other one and to the support structure.

  • Patent number: 9260129
Abstract: A ski attachment device for a portable cooler is disclosed. The ski attachment device includes a u-shaped rod that is positioned over a vertically extendable handle of the cooler. The rod is attached to a support member at the lower free ends of the rod. The free ends of the rod include threaded portions over which knobs are attached to secure the support member in a particular vertical position with respect to the cooler. A wide ski is hingedly attached to the support member. The ski is pivotally positioned in a lowered position so that the curved portion of the ski is situated beneath wheels attached to the under side of the cooler. The ski is also positionable in a raised position. A flexible strap having a buckle is attached to the support member and encircles the periphery of the cooler.

  • Publication number: 20110175350
Abstract: An aircraft huffer coupling adapter comprises a flange assembly having one or more attachment members in communication with a flange ring via one or more strut members. The flange assembly is attached with a port end of an inner coupling of a huffer coupling via the one or more attachment members. The flange ring defines an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the huffer coupling, with at least one space between an inner wall of the flange ring and the outer diameter of the air hose coupling arranged to allow airflow therethrough.

  • Patent number: 5630371
Abstract: A catamaran having two spaced apart elongated hulls joined by front and rear cross members holding the hulls in alignment, and having a trampoline extending between the cross members. Cables or wires are carried within enclosures forming side loops in the trampoline and running from the front to the rear of the trampoline between cross members. A plurality of restraining hooks are affixed to the sides of each of the hulls. The cables are detachably held by the hooks to maintain lateral tension in the trampoline.A rudder blade assembly at the rear end of each hull includes a tiller arm connected at its upper end to a tiller crossbar, the connection between the upper ends of the tillers and the ends of the crossbar being live flexible rubber elbows with a snap connect and disconnect between tiller crossbar and the upper ends of the tillers.Pre-formed cylinders are laterally molded into the sides of each of the hulls and positioned to snugly receive the front and rear cross members.

  • Patent number: 5580259
Abstract: A clockspring assembly having an apparatus for reducing the length of cable used in the clockspring's design. The clockspring has a housing which defines a first aperture. Rotatably mounted within the first aperture is a hub having a second aperture. Between the housing and the hub is a radial space defined within the housing. The radial space contains a ribbon cable which has a first end connected to a first connector and a second end connected to a second connector. Correspondingly, the first connector is attached to the housing and the second connector is attached to the hub. Furthermore, resiliently clamped onto the hub is a carrier apparatus which has a clamping portion for pressing the ribbon cable onto the hub during its rotation. In addition, the carrier apparatus also has a brace for reducing vibration of the portion of the cable portion which is not being pressed against the hub.

  • Patent number: 5529338
Abstract: A method of constructing an automotive airbag squib connector housing by injecting plastic into a single mold. The single mold provides for the formation of a bottom section, a top cover section, and a lock section. During the molding process, a pair of molding runners connect the bottom section to the top cover section. Likewise, the top cover section is connected to the lock section and where the two sections connect together a notch is formed. Once the sections are molded, they are used to construct an automotive airbag squib connector housing.
