    Abstract: A tire mounting bracket is provided for pivotally mounting a spare tire in a rear of a vehicle. The bracket is pivotal from a first position, for supporting the tire in a vertical position wherein the tire may obstruct a driver's view through the rear window, to a second position, for supporting the tire in a horizontal position above the vehicle floor so that the driver's view is not obstructed by the spare tire.
