  • Patent number: 7489058
Abstract: In a connection arrangement (10) for the stator winding of a turbo machine with two or more parallel circuits of individual conductors (26, 29) per phase, the individual conductors belonging to one phase form a phase group (25, 28) and run directly adjacent to one another in the stator body, the individual conductors of the winding are each connected from a winding connection (21, . . . , 24) to an external connection (15, . . . , 20) via a phase ring (32), which runs concentrically with respect to the machine axis (33). A simplification of the manufacture and assembly as well as a reduction in space requirements and an improvement in the thermal properties are achieved by the phase rings (32) of a phase group each being led together as a phase ring group (11, . . . , 14) from the winding connections (21, . . . , 24) to the external connections (15, . . . , 20).

  • Patent number: 7190094
Abstract: A turbo-generator includes a rotor body and a rotor winding disposed around the rotor body. The rotor winding including a sub slot, a first axial cooling duct having a first inlet and a first outlet, and a second axial cooling duct disposed adjacent and parallel to the first axial cooling duct for multi-path cooling. The second axial cooling duct has a second inlet and a second outlet. The first inlet is disposed offset from the second inlet and the first outlet is disposed offset from the second outlet.

  • Publication number: 20060038462
Abstract: A rotor for a generator, in particular a high-power turbogenerator, has slots, which run axially in a rotor body and have conductor bars inserted in them, which are supported radially in the slots by means of wedges and are in each case electrically connected to one another at the ends of the rotor body in a rotor end winding. The rotor end windings are each covered by a rotor cap which is pushed over the end of the rotor body, and an electrically insulating covering channel is arranged in each of the slots between the uppermost conductor bar and the wedge and is connected outside the rotor body to a cap insulation, which is arranged between the rotor end winding and the rotor cap. The covering channels are formed with axially stepped ends at the ends of the rotor body.
