  • Publication number: 20240077849
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for using printing process data to predict quality measures for three-dimensional (3D) printed objects and properties of the materials comprising the 3D objects. Printing may be performed using resistive or Joule printing. The system may include a computer communicatively coupled to a 3D printing apparatus, which may store printing parameters. The 3D printing apparatus may be able to take measurements during a print job, and record those measurements in memory. The 3D printing apparatus may also be able to record printing states before, during, and/or after printing. A combination of printing states, printing parameters, and measurements may be analyzed, for example, by a machine learning algorithm, in order to predict material properties and quality measures.

  • Publication number: 20070161356
Abstract: Improved carrier feed thru rejection is achieved for a linear amplifier in a transmitter. The DC training capabilities of a radio frequency mixer are used, not only to correct DC offset of the radio frequency mixer, but also to adjust the DC offset of any baseband circuit and filtering coupled to the radio frequency mixer. Output power adjustment is accomplished by adjusting a feedback attenuator in the feedback path of the radio frequency mixer. Constant loop gain is maintained by adjusting a forward attenuator in the forward path of the radio frequency mixer. The feedback and forward attenuators have a fine adjustment on the order of less than 5 dB.

  • Publication number: 20070000792
Abstract: A contact lens package that is reusable as a case to store a contact lens between uses includes a bottom member having a well with an inside generally concave shape, and a wall rising above the well and ending in a top rim defining an opening; a temporary seal comprising a moisture-proof film sealed across the top rim to seal the opening, thus defining a volume within the package, the volume containing a contact lens and contact lens fluid; and a cap secured to the bottom member covering the temporary seal, the cap being removable to give access to the temporary seal and replaceable on the bottom member thereafter to provide storage of the contact lens between uses thereof.

  • Publication number: 20030220647
Abstract: An orthopaedic reaming apparatus, more specifically a low profile acetabular reamer useful in the performance of a minimally invasive or traditional hip arthroplasty. The acetabular reamer of the present invention comprises a convex non-hemispherical cutting surface having a plurality of cutting teeth disposed thereon.
