Another apparatus includes two sides, a base, a flap, and at least one zipper pull that zips the sides to the flap. The sides resemble the outline of a car, such that the apparatus when zipped up resembles a car and when unzipped becomes an activity mat and lies flat. Backpack straps on the back allow the apparatus to be worn as a backpack.

A partition operating system, a partition user application, and a partition alarm handler is provided in each partition. Each partition operating system provides resource allocation services to the respective partition user application within the partition. An alarm dispatcher and a system alarm handler is provided in the core operating system space. The alarm dispatcher is configured to receive alarms and to dispatch the alarms to one of the alarm handlers.

Boots for receiving the lower end of the ladder can be positioned at selected locations along the length of a rack, and a prop assembly, supported at a spaced location within the truck bed, has a pair of extensible arms that can be pivoted to bring them into engagement with the ladder, to provide lateral support for it.
