  • Patent number: 10675820
Abstract: An overmolding method for forming joints in a fluid-flow apparatus utilizes a connector or fitting as a component for mold forming. The connector or fitting is not removed after the overmolding and thus forms part of the joint assembly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 8, 2018
Date of Patent: June 9, 2020
    Assignee: TBL PERFORMANCE PLASTICS, LLC

  • Patent number: 9151420
Abstract: A tube or pipe clamp has two clamp members that are pivotably connected to one another at respective hinge-forming ends thereof. The tube or pipe clamp has a locking device that includes a shaft and a locking element operatively attached to the shaft, the shaft being pivotably attached to one of the clamp members. The other clamp member has a pair of prongs defining a slot for receiving the shaft of the locking device, the locking element being engageable with the prongs to lock the clamp members to one another at ends thereof opposite the hinge-forming ends. The prongs each have at least one projection on a side facing away from the one clamp member. Each of the projections is disposed proximate the free end of the respective prong.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 2012
Date of Patent: October 6, 2015
    Assignee: ENGINEERED PRODUCT SUPPLY, LLC

  • Publication number: 20130263674
Abstract: A tube or pipe clamp incorporates a clamping force measurement device. A support body is disposable around a threaded bolt of a locking assembly of the tube or pipe clamp. At least one spring element is held by the support body, a compression member being disposed in operative contact with the spring element for compressing the same in a clamp tightening operation. A scale is provided on one of the support body and the compression member for indicating a degree of compression of the spring element and concomitantly a magnitude of compressive force exerted by the compression member and the bolt on the tube or pipe clamp.
