  • Patent number: 11912325
Abstract: An improved auto-chocking enabled cargo dolly that is towable by ground support equipment. The dolly has a frame, wheels attached to the frame that support the frame and rotate to allow movement of the frame, a tow bar, a linkage in communication with the tow bar and that actuates when the tow bar is raised, and a wheel engagement chocking system fixed to the dolly frame and disposed to selectively engage at least one of the wheels attached to the dolly frame. The wheel engagement system is responsive to a position of the linkage, where the wheel engagement chocking system applies pressure directly to at least one of the wheels to hold the wheel(s) in place when the linkage is actuated by the tow bar.

  • Patent number: 9441142
Abstract: Hydrophilic adhesive compositions are disclosed that contain a surfactant that is miscible, but not fully soluble in the polymer matrix of the adhesive. This permits the surfactant to continuously replenish at the surface of the adhesive as other surfactant is removed, such as when it is carried away by an aqueous sample flowing over that surface in an in-vitro diagnostic device, resulting in adhesive compositions that are inherently hydrophilic on their surfaces and do not rely on the bloom mechanism of known hydrophilic adhesives. This provides greater design options for in-vitro diagnostic device manufacturers, including the use of hydrophilic adhesive spacers in lieu of or in combination with hydrophilic top covers.

  • Publication number: 20120283615
Abstract: Pressure sensitive adhesives for use primarily in medical applications are disclosed. The pressure sensitive adhesives are urethane elastomeric adhesives that include a polyurethane polymer and a compatible tackifier and/or compatible plasticizer to achieve an adhesive having a predetermined compliance. The result is a pressure sensitive adhesive for application to skin that can eventually be removed with very little trauma to the skin and with a low pain rating, but which still exhibits very good peel strength when used to construct an article in which the adhesive is adhered to human skin.

  • Publication number: 20120175926
Abstract: A furniture covering system comprising a coverings assembly including: at least two arm sleeves that cover arms of a furniture item; a headrest cover that covers a headrest of the furniture item; a footrest cover that covers a footrest of the furniture item; a padded seat cover having a zipper that covers a seat of the furniture item; and a fastening system. The fastening system comprises a set of elastic straps and hook and loop fasteners to attach the coverings assembly to the furniture item. The coverings assembly comprises markings having indicia to provide a visual indication of who is permitted to sit in the furniture item. Further, the indicia is inter-changeable as desired by the occupant. The coverings assembly is stain-resistant and provides comfort for the occupant of the furniture item thereby preventing undue wear of the furniture item.

  • Publication number: 20050142357
Abstract: A pressure sensitive adhesive composition is provided comprised of a cross-linked multifunctional liquid polymer having a Tg<20° C., at least one tackifying resin compatible with the liquid polymer, and at least one additional resin which is either incompatible or at least partially incompatible with the liquid polymer.
