  • Publication number: 20240057667
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an assembly for an aerosol provision device for heating aerosol-generating material to volatilize at least one component of the aerosol-generating material. The assembly can include a heating zone for receiving aerosol-generating material to be heated, a structure, and at least one continuous electrically conductive path supported by the structure and configured to perform a first function of detecting temperature of the heating zone on the basis of an electrical resistance of the at least one path and/or a second function of heating the heating zone by resistance heating. The at least one path extends along at least two distinct portions of the structure. The at least one path can include a multiplicity of turns within each of the at least two distinct portions of the structure. The at least two distinct portions of the structure are offset from each other by a gap which is substantially free of the at least one path.

  • Patent number: 9762447
Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention is a network infrastructure management system that allows monitoring and controlling network devices while dynamically discovering them on demand during the process. New management protocols can be dynamically added to the system or built on demand without refactoring the existing algorithms.

  • Publication number: 20150359807
Abstract: A composition comprising vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin K2 (K2-MK-7) is provided. Advantageously, vitamin A is present in an amount of 1,000 IU to 10,000 IU, vitamin D is present in an amount of 400 IU to 10,000 IU and vitamin K2 is present in an amount of 45 ?g to 1,000 ?g. In one advantageous form, vitamin A is retinol or an ester form thereof a method for limiting the accumulation of calcium and a method for limiting the occurrence of cardiovascular disease or events is provided by administering an effective amount of the present composition.

  • Patent number: 8789021
Abstract: Computer apparatus, method and system for developing, in an existing protocol, load tests of a computing system. The invention includes a kernel that provides a plurality of core actions for use in a subject load test script. Core actions employed in the subject load test script are implemented as respective kernel actions written in an object-oriented programming language underlying the existing protocol. An execution engine applies the subject load test script to a number of test clients. The execution engine schedules for execution and executes the kernel actions in a manner that utilizes a relatively small number of resources as compared to the number of test clients. An extender extends the protocol (e.g., extends the base classes of the protocol and/or adds features to the protocol), and the invention adds corresponding references to the subject load test script accordingly.
