    Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus is provided. A printer selector allows a sender to select via a computer screen a printer to be used for printing a document. A print notification message generator generates a print notification message to a recipient list intended to receive the document. The print notification message includes a document identifier identifying the document and printer identifier identifying the printer. A message sender electronically sends the print notification message to each recipient on the recipient list. A document sender sends the document to the printer.
