  • Publication number: 20200226284
Abstract: Systems and methods for data aggregation and processing are provided in manner that is decentralized and preserves privacy. A data aggregation and computation system may include an interface, a controller, and one or more clusters of computation nodes. The interface may receive an inquiry from a requesting entity for computing information regarding an individual based on pieces of information held by a plurality of entities. The controller may communicate an identifier for the individual to a processor system associated with each of the entities based on the inquiry. The clusters of computation nodes may each receive encrypted data fragments from each of the processor systems, the data fragments comprising unrecognizable fragments that no individual processor system can re-assemble to recover the information, perform secure, multi-party computations based on the data fragments, and generate a result based on the secure, multi-party computations for the individual.

  • Publication number: 20200226519
Abstract: A system and a method for managing resources, using prediction models for estimating required resources for a selected activity in the worksite, is disclosed. This involves capturing object data related to actual resources utilized for the selected activity; and further accessing, from the BIM files, historic data about consumed resources for one or more other activities similar to the selected activity. A preliminary prediction model is used to estimate required resources for the selected activity by extrapolating the historic data related to consumed resources associated with the one or more other activities. Further, a variance between the estimated required resources and actual resources utilized is calculated for the selected activity, and the obtained information is utilized to refine the said preliminary prediction model so that it may provide better prediction for subsequent request for queries related to estimation of resources for any activity in the worksite.

  • Publication number: 20200228940
Abstract: A device may receive, from an application function device (AF), a message intended for a destination user device, wherein the message conforms to a first format. The device may obtain, from a unified data management device (UDM), information indicating that the destination user device is capable of receiving messages that conform to a second format. The device may convert, based on the information indicating that the destination user device is capable of receiving messages that conform to the second format, the message from the first format to the second format. The device may send, after converting the message from the first format to the second format, the message to a short message service function device (SMSF) via a direct connection between the device and the SMSF, wherein the SMSF sends the message to the destination user device.

  • Publication number: 20200226814
Abstract: A head-mounted display comprises a display device and an outward-facing depth camera. A storage machine comprises instructions executable by a logic machine to present one or more virtual objects on the display device, to receive information from the depth camera about an environment, and to determine a position of the head-mounted display within the environment. Based on the position of the head-mounted display, a position of a joint of a user's arm is inferred. Based on the information received from the depth camera, a position of a user's hand is determined. A ray is cast from a portion of the user's hand based on the position of the joint of the user's arm and the position of the user's hand.
