    Abstract: A transformer assembly includes a transformer having a winding, a thermal sensor in thermal communication with the transformer winding, and an airflow generator in signal communication with the thermal sensor and arranged for fluid communication with the transformer winding. The airflow generator is responsive to the thermal sensor to direct an airflow toward the transformer winding in response to a temperature at the winding.
