  • Patent number: 9200700
Abstract: A motion control system is provided where a rotatable driven gear is held by bearings. The bearings are held inside a rotatable cam, where the cam has eccentricity between the outside and inside diameter. The outside diameter is held in a case that contains a driving gear. The backlash of the system is controlled by rotating the cam, which adjusts the center to center distance between the driving and driven gear.

    Assignee: Kessler Crane, Inc.
Inventors: Eric Kessler, Kevin P Mott
  • Patent number: 8967889
Abstract: A rotating and sliding device is provided with a linear rail and a guide rail. A carriage with a rotating table travels along the linear rail. A second pivot point on the table is attached to an arm that travels along the guide rail. When the guide rail is askew from the linear rail, the linkage between the arm and the table causes the table to rotate as the device slides along the linear rail.

Date of Patent: March 3, 2015

  • Patent number: 8827219
Abstract: A mounting system having a plate with a tail portion and a base with a socket portion. The socket includes a dropping gate which recedes into a compartment in the base when the plate is vertically inserted on the base. The base includes a stop which engages a catch on the plate to prevent the plate from being laterally removed from the base.

  • Patent number: 8430085
Abstract: A less-than-lethal pellet gun is provided. The gun includes a plurality of links each holding a pellet. A feed cylinder is configured to advance the links to a firing position and eject each link after its pellet has been fired. The feed cylinder includes a slot portion and a gear portion. The slot portion includes a first slot region, a second slot region, a first angled slot region, and a second angled slot region. A linkage arm is configured to engage the slot portion of the feed cylinder such that linear movement of the linkage arm rotates the feed cylinder to move the pellet to a firing position.
