  • Publication number: 20200232259
Abstract: A disposable, flexible locking restraint having a base and first and second straps integrally molded of a dry flexible plastic is provided. During use, toothed portion of the straps engage toothed portions of associated pawls to provide for unidirectional travel of the straps through the base. For increased security, pawl locks are provided on the base. Each pawl lock has first and second retainers to engage the pawl lock on the base, where the first retainer is spaced from the second retainer along a length of the pawl lock. When the first retainer retains the pawl locks in the base, the pawls have sufficient freedom of movement to allow unidirectional movement of the straps through the base, and when the pawl locks are depressed such that the second retainer retains each pawl lock in its respective lock aperture, the pawl lock engages the pawl and presses the pawl against the strap, preventing further travel of the strap.

The cover has a rear portion extending from the back of the holster to a forward portion having first and second security portions. A second half of the hook and loop fastener extends across the first and second security portions, with a second half of the snap fastener in the middle. When the halves of the snap fastener are engaged and the first and second halves of the hook and loop fastener are engaged, the hook and loop fastener in the security portions is orientated in a sheer direction with respect to a release direction of the snap fastener.

  • Publication number: 20190284844
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a handcuff includes bending a first bar of alloy into a curve roughly matching a shape of a desired cheek plate half, heating the first bar to a forging temperature, die forging the first bar into a first cheek frame forging having a first lockset cavity portion, and trimming the first forging to a form a first forged cheek from half having a first cheek arm. This is repeated with a second bar to obtain a second forged cheek frame half having a second cheek arm. The first cheek frame half is joined directly to the second cheek frame half, the first lockset cavity portion and the second lockset cavity portion combining to form a lockset cavity. A bow is pivotally attached between the first and second cheek arms and a lockset is installed in the lockset cavity.

  • Patent number: 10226677
Abstract: An enclosed disc-golf court (10) with multiple holes (24). Each hole has a disc throwing lane (32) between a tee-off area (26) and a target basket (30). Boundary walls (36) on each side of the lane extend from a floor (14) to or near a roof (16). At least one hole has an obstacle (52A-M) partially blocking the lane. A player attempts to manually throw a disc (28) through an unblocked area (56, 60) in or beside the obstacle to hit the target basket. At least one target basket may have a sheath (62) that blocks entry of the disc except through a disc-access hole (66) in the sheath. A player can try repeatedly from where the disc lands after each throw until it enters the target basket up to a maximum number of tries per hole.
