    Abstract: A beverage producing sachet comprising two laminates bonded at their edges and having a bottom seam with an openable portion thereof sealed by a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The base seam includes a reinforcing plastics strip which is heat sealed to both of the laminates except in the openable portion where it is bonded to one of the laminates by pressure-sensitive adhesive.
