Abstract: A computer-implemented payment processing system and method is presented that includes creating a merchant account and a sub-merchant account on a payment processing platform where the merchant account is associated with a payment facilitator and the sub-merchant account is associated with a sub-merchant of the payment facilitator. The payment facilitator charges the sub-merchant a payment facilitation fee to facilitate payment processing on behalf of the sub-merchant. The merchant account and the sub-merchant account are associated with a first settlement account and a second settlement accounts held by a first financial institution and a second financial institution respectively. Subsequent to creating the merchant and sub-merchant account, the system and method processes a payment transaction for an initial amount of funds for the sub-merchant account. The payment facilitation fee is distributed into the first settlement account and the remaining funds are distributed into the second settlement account.

Abstract: Methods and systems for identifying and/or treating urinary disorders are provided. The methods and systems generally operate by obtaining a urine sample from a subject, identifying (such as by using nucleic acid sequencing) an abundance of a first set of one or more microbes (such as one or more bacteria or viruses) in the urine sample, and determining whether the subject suffers from a urinary disorder based on the abundance of the first set of one or more microbes. In some cases, the methods and systems further operate by identifying a second set of microbes to supplement a microbiome in the urinary tract of the subject. In some instances, the methods and systems further operate by treating the urinary disorder using the second set of microbes. In some instances a preservation solution is utilized.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving the use of sensor data in a mobile context by indexing the sensor data with derived content. In one embodiment, a method includes, responsive to an offload event, acquiring sensor data from a vehicle. The method includes generating an index of the sensor data according to attributes of how the sensor data was acquired. The method includes analyzing the sensor data to derive additional content using at least a model. The method includes updating the index using the additional content to further indicate characteristics of the sensor data relative to the attributes. The method includes providing the index to a remote device as a report about contents of the sensor data.

Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving data offloading in a mobile context by using indexes of the data to identify distributed devices that may include the data and selectively querying identified devices for the data. In one embodiment, a method includes, responsive to receiving a query for selected data stored among one or more distributed devices, identifying, by a query device, at least one target device of the distributed devices that matches the selected data using an index of vehicle data stored on the distributed devices. The method includes providing, by the query device, a request to the at least one target device to cause the at least one target device to retrieve the selected data stored locally at the target device. The method includes receiving the selected data from the target device. The method includes providing the selected data as an electronic output.

Abstract: Methods and a computing device are disclosed. A computing device may aggregate a number of inputs indicative of a presence or an absence of a human being within a proximity of the computing device. A source of at least one of the inputs may be a human presence sensor. A source of other inputs may provide an indication of the presence of a human being with corresponding estimated probabilities or corresponding estimated reliabilities which may provide an estimate of an accuracy of respective indications. In some embodiments, if any of the number of inputs indicate the presence of a human being, the computing device may determine that a human being is present. In other embodiments, if a corresponding estimated probability or reliability of an input is less than a predetermined value, then the input may be discarded when determining whether a human being is present.
