  • Patent number: 11231245
Abstract: A weapon retention system may include a base assembly, a first plate coupled to the base assembly, and a second plate coupled to the base assembly, where a distance between the plates while the base assembly is in an open state is greater than a distance between the plates while the base assembly is in a closed state, where the first plate and the second plate are configured to retain the weapon between the first plate and the second plate while the base assembly is in the closed state. The system may further include a linear ratchet coupled to the first plate. The system may also include a pistol grip rest coupled to the first plate, where the pistol grip includes a pin configured to engage the linear ratchet for unidirectional adjustment while the pistol grip rest is in a first state.

  • Publication number: 20050145585
Abstract: A gun rack for holding a firearm including a stock and a barrel, the stock including a butt portion, the gun rack including a stock support assembly including a butt support member, the butt the firearm positionable in and supportable by the butt support member and a barrel support assembly including a barrel clip for grasping placement about an outer perimeter of a barrel of the firearm. In one embodiment, the gun rack includes a lock securable through an aperture located near an upper end of the side stock support member and a trigger guard of the firearm, thereby securing the firearm to the stock support assembly. In one embodiment, the stock support assembly and the barrel support assembly are pivotally mounted to a supporting structural member, for instance, a wall, permitting the gun rack to be pivoted about an axis so that the firearm may be stored, viewed or displayed from more than one angle.

  • Publication number: 20050114404
Abstract: Techniques to extract, or unload, data from a database table based on a specific version of the table are described. Modern database management systems permit a user to change a databases' table structure or schema in response to changing operating conditions without blocking users' access to the underlying table or its data. Once modified, these database management systems permit data retrieval only in terms of a table's most recent version. Applications written to process a table's data in a first version may not be able to process data when that data is conformed to a later version. By providing a means to extract data from a table based on prior versions of that table, the invention permits users to evolve their database structure as needs require, while maintaining the ability to unload data for historical applications.
