Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a controlled dose of a substance wherein the apparatus includes a compressible tube portion, a tip portion extending from the tube portion sized to receive a substance to be dosed, and a breakaway portion being removably coupled to the tip portion. The breakaway portion reveals an aperture in the tip portion upon removal of the breakaway portion. Finally, a valve member is slidably disposed in the tip portion such that the valve member can be movable in response to fluid pressure and/or manual force application to urge the substance within the tip portion out of the aperture as a controlled dose.
