  • Patent number: 10314930
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing scented granules into a trash receptacle includes an enclosure having an open top end, a bottom end, and a peripheral wall. The enclosure is fixed against a bottom side of a lid to the trash receptacle with a riser tube traversing an aperture of the lid and an attachment ring. A portion control flange is fixed inside the enclosure proximate the bottom end thereof to segregate a predetermined portion of the scented granules when the enclosure is in a first upright orientation. A top end of the portion control flange is fixed with the peripheral wall which has a discharge aperture therethrough below the portion control flange. When the enclosure is placed in a second orientation inclined towards the discharge aperture, the segregated scented granules slide between the portion control flange and the enclosure to exist the discharge aperture into the trash receptacle.

  • Patent number: 7922031
Abstract: An insulating sleeve combination for a frusto-conical beverage cup having an outer peripheral surface is disclosed, as well as a method of use thereof. The combination includes an opaque frusto-conical inner sleeve and a frusto-conical outer sleeve. At least a portion of the outer sleeve is transparent or translucent, such that indicia on the inner sleeve is visible or at least partially visible therethrough. The outer surface of the outer sleeve may includes a textured gripping surface, facilitating the manual grasping of the combination by the user. • Patent number: 5581484
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for manually entering information into a computer. A pressure sensor is removably attached proximate to the tip of at least one, but preferably all, of the fingers of a hand for generating a pressure signal that corresponds to the pressure of the finger tip against a surface, such as a desk top or table top. First and second acceleration sensors are also removably attached proximate to the finger tip for generating a first and second acceleration signal that is a function of the acceleration of the finger tip in first and second directions, respectively. The first direction is different, and preferably orthogonal, to the second direction. Preferably the sensors are mounted in a flexible, removable fabric glove, or the like.

  • Patent number: 5088674
Abstract: A bracket is provided for supporting a conventional case for a Compact Disk. The bracket mounts against a flat surface such as a wall and holds the case so that the artwork on the case cover is visible. The bracket has a base and a pair of arms on opposite sides of the base that extend away from the mounting surface. Each arm has a lip extending toward the opposing arm to clamp one portion of the case. A first lip clamps the case on a portion of the case's top surface proximate a hinged case end, while a second lip clamps on a small flange on the side of the case opposite its hinged end. The first lip has a low profile allowing the case cover to be fully opened to access the Compact Disk therein, without removing the case from the bracket. The second lip has a sloping top surface that contacts the flange of the case during insertion of the case into the bracket.
