  • Publication number: 20200146279
Abstract: A motion attachment device designed to be attached to the keel of a decoy includes a housing or frame that is configured to releasably receive the keel. An actuator coupled to one or more appendages that are attached to the housing or frame to move the one or more appendages to impart a realistic motion to the decoy. The same motion attachment device can be attached to different decoys at different times and can be used with a variety of interchangeable appendages to simulate at least one of a swimming motion, a wing flapping motion, bobbing motion, and feeding motion.

  • Patent number: 10517290
Abstract: A motion attachment device designed to be attached to the keel of a decoy includes a housing that is configured to releasably receive the keel. An actuator in the housing is connected to and moves one or more appendages also attached to the housing. The device can be attached to different decoys at different times.

  • Publication number: 20160309704
Abstract: A motion attachment device (11) is disclosed for use with a decoy (10) having a keel (21). The motion attachment device includes a housing (25) with a slot (26) which is configured to releasably receive the keel. The device also includes a pair of actuators (22) removably mounted to opposite sides of the housing. Each actuator includes a casing (23), a top motor (28?) for driving the movement of wings (36) and a bottom motor (28?) for driving the movement of the feet (35), and a battery (29) for powering the motors. The actuators are self contained and are removably mounted to the housing through a hand driven threaded bolt (40) extending through a bolt hole (41) in the casing. The bolt is threaded into a corresponding internally threaded bolt hole (42) in the housing.

  • Publication number: 20160106090
Abstract: There is disclosed an animal decoy (10) including a hollow base (11) and a cover (12) removably coupled to the base. The base has a lower portion or shell (14) releasably coupled together through latches (28) to define a storage space within the decoy. The cover is made of a flexible material which includes an iridescent cloth material portion. The base shells may be nestable to minimize storage space necessary for the decoys. The lower shell may also be replaced by another lower shell (60) of a different stance or configuration.
