  • Patent number: 11745540
Abstract: A device for lifting a wheel and rolling the wheel on a surface includes an elongated rigid plate having a top side, a bottom side, a peripheral edge, a pedal portion at a rear end of the rigid plate, and a wheel portion at a forward end of the rigid plate. A roller is fixed with the bottom side of the rigid plate and the peripheral edge of the wheel portion at the forward end of the rigid plate is bent upward to form a tire-tread engaging lip, at least a portion of which engages a tread of the wheel. In use, with the wheel resting on the wheel portion, the pedal portion may be pressed downwardly to pivot the rigid plate about the roller to lift the wheel. The lifting device is then rolled on the surface to place the wheel at a desired position.

  • Patent number: 11104469
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for systems and methods for calibrating a label applicator for improved accuracy and/or precision on moving objects. In one example, a system may be configured to receive a height of a package on a conveyor path prior to the package reaching a label applicator. The system can be configured to determine a predicted tamp time for the package based on the height. The predicted tamp time can represent an estimated period of time for a tamp head to apply a label on the package. The system also can instruct a controller operating a label applicator to activate the tamp head for the package based on the predicted tamp time. The system can receive an actual tamp time from the controller after the label has been applied to the package and update the modeling coefficient based on a tamp time error.

  • Patent number: 10474514
Abstract: Flow control of messages to/from clients and services in a remote access system. Within the remote access system a layered architecture may be provided that includes a client layer at a client device, a service layer associated with a service, and a server layer that is a communications proxy for messages sent between the client device and the service. The service layer may have a receive queue for messages received from the client device and a send queue of messages destined for the client device. The server layer may include an outbound queue of messages destined for the client device. Full duplex communications between the client layer and the server layer may be implemented using a service protocol in a first channel for communication between the client layer and the server layer and a second channel for communication between the server layer and the client layer.

  • Patent number: 10035688
Abstract: A cart is disclosed having a rigid base with a plurality of cutouts, bottom and top sides, and at least one peripheral edge. The bottom side has at least one removable, lockable caster at each bottom side corner. The cart has a rigid cradle with bottom, back, and top sides, and at least one peripheral edge. The opposing sides of the top side have horizontal rollers mounted on flanges. The cradle has a handle, tool hooks, a lug nut tray, and a wheel retainer. An actuating lift coupled between and centered on the base top and cradle bottom is movable between a lowered position and a raised position. The base has an elevated portion and is switchable between raised and lowered configurations, setting the cradle's maximum height, by removing the casters and decoupling the lift from the base; flipping over the base; reattaching the casters; and recoupling the lift.

  • Patent number: 8302922
Abstract: The camp lantern tree stand includes an adjustable tree strap that encircles the outer periphery of a tree to support said stand thereon. The camp lantern tree stand includes a camp lantern support arm that extends and retracts from the stand to support a camp lantern at a predetermined distance away from said tree while above a ground surface. The camp lantern tree stand also includes a plurality of hooks that may extend and retract to support a plurality of items thereon. The camp lantern tree stand provides a useful way to illuminate an area immediately adjacent a tree while simultaneously supporting a plurality of other items thereon. The camp lantern tree stand uses the adjustable tree strap to hang thereon, which does not require mounting means that damage said tree, and which provides ease in mounting or dismounting the camp lantern tree stand therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20110135180
Abstract: A method of processing a 3-dimensional Computed Tomography Colonography data set to remove tagged material is disclosed. The method involves the preliminary processing step of classifying voxels in the data set as corresponding to air, tagged material or colon tissue. Methods of overcoming erroneous classification of Partial Volume air/tagged material interface voxels are disclosed. The present invention also provides for methods of circumventing problems resulting from removal of tagged material from a CTC data set, which can result in the erosion of soft-tissue structures partially covered by tagged colonic fluid.
