    Abstract: The present invention is a method for reducing addiction to opioids. The method comprises of a pharmacological treatment with assistance of a psychological treatment program. The pharmacological treatment advocates opioid reduction with assistance of proper use of medical cannabis by 1-3 g per day (maximum 5 g per day) which reduces opioids by increments of 10%. In opioid reduction plan of the present invention the opioid is gradually replaced with medical cannabis.
