  • Publication number: 20210158287
Abstract: A system for selecting components for an engine includes an electronic control unit comprising a processor and a memory component and a machine-readable instruction set. The machine-readable instruction set is stored in the memory component of the electronic control unit and causes the system to perform at least the following when executed by the processor: receive a catalog of a plurality of components, where the plurality of components include a measured manufacturing characteristic, receive at least one operating environment characteristic of a plurality of operating environment characteristics, and select one or more components from the catalog of the plurality of components for a bill of materials based on the measured manufacturing characteristic and the at least one operating environment characteristic.

  • Patent number: 10738707
Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes a combustion section space between a compressor section in a turbine section. The combustion section defines a combustion chamber and includes a combustor member defining an opening to the combustion chamber. A mounting assembly extends around or is positioned adjacent to the opening defined by the combustor member. In igniter extends through a ferrule of the mounting assembly and includes a distal end positioned proximate the opening in the combustor member. The igniter defines a plurality of channels each channel extending between a first end and a second end. The first end is positioned away from the distal end of the igniter relative to the second end, and the second end is a terminal end spaced from the distal end of the igniter.

  • Publication number: 20190279132
Abstract: An analytics core and/or an analytics core associated with aggregation are presented. For example, a system includes a monitoring component, a catalog component, a model suite component, and a model processing/learning component. The monitoring component monitor and analyzed data associated with one or more assets. The catalog component manages analytics associated with the one or more assets, where the catalog component manages a set of models for the one or more assets. The model suite component selects a subset of models from the set of models. The model processing/learning component process the subset of models and performs learning associated with the subset of models to predict a health state for the one or more assets.

Abstract: A compressor for a gas turbine engine includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes first and second stator vanes attached to first and second vane platforms, respectively. The rotor includes a plurality of rotor blades that rotate with respect to the stator. An inner stator casing supports the first and second vane platforms and encloses the stator and the rotor. An outer stator casing encloses the inner stator casing, and a bleed cavity is disposed therebetween. At least one diffuser is disposed between the first vane platform and the second vane platform, and is configured to allow air communication between the inner stator casing and the bleed cavity. An exit opening of the diffuser is disposed within the bleed cavity at a location separate from the inner stator casing and the outer stator casing.

  • Patent number: 9393172
Abstract: A spinal decompression machine includes a portable frame, a user support element, a laterally positioned handle extending from the frame, and a drive mechanism operatively coupled to the handle. A force bar operatively coupled to the drive mechanism extends longitudinally beyond a longitudinal end of the frame. A harness is attached to the first force bar. The drive mechanism causes the force bar to move longitudinally upon rotation of the handle. A method of providing traction includes positioning a person in a face up position upon the user support element, attaching a harness to a neck or pelvis of the person, the harness attached to a cervical traction bar or a pelvic traction bar, and moving the cervical fraction bar and pelvic fraction bar simultaneously in a common longitudinal direction by moving a handle.
