  • Publication number: 20240084764
Abstract: Airframe integrated scramjet engines are disclosed. Scramjet engines within the scope of this disclosure may be configured to integrate smoothly with an airframe of a hypersonic flight aircraft or vehicle. The scramjet engine may include capture shape of an inlet configured to capture airflow, a combustor configured for combustion of fuel and air, and an exit shape of a nozzle configured for expansion of the combusted fuel and air to provide hypersonic thrust. In some embodiments, the scramjet engine has a fixed geometry and a transitioning cross-sectional shape over its full length. The scramjet engine is configured to be a component of launch vehicle system.

  • Publication number: 20230351497
Abstract: Embodiments herein recite a method including receiving a request to create a secure loan dataset, retrieving one or more data records associated with a user profile and a secure loan dataset associated with a first user, the one or more data records comprising at least a triggering employment status attribute that causes the server to execute a financial transaction associated with the secure loan dataset; mapping one or more data records associated with the user profile and the secure loan dataset; monitoring data associated with a modification to the triggering employment status attribute of a plurality of users of an enterprise; training a predictive model using the data associated with the plurality of users; executing the predictive model to predict data associated with the triggering employment status attribute; and generating a notification that includes a likelihood of the triggering employment status attribute.

  • Patent number: 6490295
Abstract: A communication system configured to transceive a signal along multiple communication media of the communication system thereby increasing the rate at which the signal is transceived. The communication system comprising a source configured to transceive a signal. A communication apparatus configured for decomposing the signal into a plurality of manipulated signals. The number of the plurality of manipulated signals being determined by the number of the multiple communication media in communication with the source and the maximum transceival rate of each communication media. In communication with the communication apparatus is a reconstructing apparatus that is configured for reconstructing the plurality of manipulated signals into the signal, the signal being capable of being transceived by a host.

  • Patent number: 5845243
Abstract: The compression method utilizes a combination of both lossy and lossless compression to achieve significant compression while retaining very high subjective quality of the reconstructed or decompressed signal. Methods and apparatus for compression and decompression of digital audio data are provided. In one preferred embodiment, the compression method or apparatus employs an approximation of a psychoacoustic model for wavelet packet decomposition and has a bit rate control feedback loop particularly well suited to matching the output bit rate of the data compressor to the bandwidth capacity of a communication channel.

Methods and apparatus for compression and decompression of digital audio data are provided. In one preferred embodiment, the compression method or apparatus has a bit rate control feedback loop particularly well suited to matching the output bit rate of the data compressor to the bandwidth capacity of a communication channel. Embodiments trade-off various error sources in order to keep perceptible distortion levels to a minimum for a fixed bit rate. Preferred embodiments also utilize a unique combination of run length and Huffman encoding methods in order to take advantage of both local and global statistics.
