Abstract: A panel for use in an air handling unit including a skin, a fixture having a base, and the base having a surface. The base is interposed between opposed ends and opposed risers extending from the ends of the base in a direction away from the surface. The risers are secured to the skin to form an enclosed chamber between the skin and the fixture. An insulating material is then injected into the enclosed chamber.

Abstract: An air handling unit (AHU) for housing a number of components used in a heating or cooling system to provide forced air for climate control in a particular structure includes a single raceway construction having both low thermal conductivity and enhanced mechanical properties for use with lifting the AHU; a single insulated panel construction having a minimum number of components as well as enhanced mechanical properties for use as the floor in an AHU compartment; to minimize costs associated with fabrication and installation.

Abstract: A production management system and method for managing the production of a custom designed product including user-friendly product configuration software to configure the product, such as an AHU, to the user's requirements. Once the product has been configured, manufacturing resource planning software automatically provides information from the product configuration software to generator software. The generator software corresponds to each uniquely configurable component of the product to automatically produce a customized model of the component, or customized component, for use with the custom product. The manufacturing resource planning software automatically prepares drawings of the customized component for manufacture.
