  • Patent number: 11914853
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for configuring automatic playback settings on a media playback device. A graphical user interface displays automatic playback settings and receives selections of customized settings for automatic playback. The settings can include context granularity for automatic playback, limiting autoplay to when the media playback device is connected to a wireless network, and activating an audible notification when automatic playback of media content is beginning. An initial queue of media content is selected for playback on the media playback device. The system ascertains whether autoplay is enabled for a particular situation. If autoplay is enabled, the system automatically generates a queue of media that is related to the initial queue and initiates playback on the media playback device after the initial queue concludes.

  • Patent number: 11874011
Abstract: Systems/methods for intelligent commissioning of an HVAC system provide a control node and at least a first network node coupled to communicate with the control node, the first network node configured to retrieve via a user interface objects configured at the control node, configure at least a second network node using the retrieved objects, and report the configuration of the second network node at the control node. A user interface of a first network node can access the objects at the control node. The first network node can apply the accessed objects to configure a second network node using a commissioning tool. The commissioning tool can be activated specifically for certain authorized HVAC personas or roles. The first network node can report the configuring at the control node. The commissioning tool can be voice-enabled to allow a single user to configure the HVAC system via voice commands.

  • Patent number: 11707852
Abstract: A robot in accordance with at least some embodiments of the present technology is configured for bimanual manipulation of objects. The robot includes a body and two arms individually defining an arm length and including an end effector, an end effector joint proximally adjacent to the end effector along a kinematic chain corresponding to the arm, and a gripper proximal to the end effector along the arm length. The end effector joint is configured to rotate the end effector relative to the gripper. The robot is configured to move at least a portion of a bottom surface of an object away from a support surface by applying force to the object via frictional interfaces between convex gripping surfaces of the grippers and side surfaces of the object. This creates a gap into which paddles of the end effectors can be inserted to support the object from below.

  • Patent number: 11172844
Abstract: A monitoring method is performed by a digital processor while a subject is asleep or with little movement. The method includes receiving transducer signals for a subject and training a model for characteristics of a subject or subject group. The model is used in generating sleep data according to real-time correspondence and values of transducer signals including subject rib displacement, subject abdomen displacement, subject torso movement, and subject orientation. Combinations of the transducer inputs are used to determine features from which outputs such as an AHI score are determined. A feature matrix is normalized based on dynamically-generated positional epochs bordered by subject movements to new positions and used to provide a normalization matrix.

  • Patent number: 10657169
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are provided for generating a playlist. An application programming interface (API) receives a request to generate a playlist, where the request includes a set of rule-primitives. A playlist engine evaluator evaluates a rule corresponding to each rule-primitive in the set of rule-primitives across a catalog of media content, calculates a cost associated with each item in the catalog of media content, and generates a playlist based on the items of the catalog having the lowest costs.
