Abstract: A trim tab assembly includes a trim tab and an actuator. The actuator includes a housing configured to be coupled to a boat by way of a first bracket and a rod configured to extend and retract with respect to the housing and configured to be coupled to the trim tab by way of a second bracket. A light is provided on at least one of the housing, the first bracket, the second bracket, and the trim tab.

A housing has a first end configured to be pivotably coupled to the clevis forks. A rod extends from a second end of the housing and is configured to be coupled to a second component. A cable extends from the first end of the housing and is routed between the clevis forks and through an opening in the mounting flange. A hood on the mounting bracket extends from the mounting flange at least partially along the clevis forks so as to cover at least part of the cable. A shroud extends past the first end of the housing and also covers at least part of the cable.

Abstract: A portable fuel tank assembly includes a portable fuel tank for holding fuel and a support to be connected to a supporting surface for holding the fuel tank stationary with respect to the supporting surface. The fuel tank has a first quick connector for fluid communication with the fuel in the fuel tank. The support has a second quick connector for mating and providing fluid communication with the first quick connector. The fuel tank and support are configured such that securing the fuel tank in the support simultaneously mates the second quick connector to the first quick connector to provide for fluid communication between the second quick connector and the fuel in the fuel tank. A support for holding a portable fuel tank is also provided.

Abstract: A container for a marine battery includes a lower portion for supporting the marine battery and a cover portion over the lower portion. The cover portion and lower portion together enclose an interior space configured to hold the battery. The cover portion has a middle section and two end sections on either side of the middle section. At least one of the end sections has an access door that is movable independently of the middle section to provide access to the interior space, while the middle section remains stationary with respect to the lower portion.

Abstract: A battery box has front and rear walls and first and second sidewalls defining an interior of the battery box. A first guideway is provided on a surface of the first sidewall that faces the interior. A second guideway is provided on a surface of the second sidewall that faces the interior. The first and second guideways extend in the height direction. A first spacer is configured to move in the height direction along the first guideway, and a second spacer is configured to move in the height direction along the second guideway. The first and second guideways and/or the first and second spacers have an angled surface so that as the first and second spacers are moved downwardly in the height direction along the respective first and second guideways, a gap defined in the length direction between the first and second spacers is narrowed.

Abstract: A battery box includes a main housing and a cover that together define an interior of the battery box and a vent in at least one of the main housing and the cover. The vent provides fluid communication between the interior of the battery box and an atmosphere surrounding the battery box. An upper baffle is positioned in the interior of the battery box behind the vent. The upper baffle is configured to direct any liquid that enters the vent downwardly. A drain opening in the main housing allows liquid that enters through the vent to exit the main housing. A lower baffle positioned proximate the drain opening prevents liquid from entering the interior of the battery box through the drain opening.

Abstract: A trolling motor assembly includes a main housing holding an electric motor. A propeller is attached to a propeller shaft that is driven by the electric motor and projects from a rear end of the main housing. A steering shaft is configured to couple the main housing to a watercraft. A nosecone is coupled to the main housing at the front end of the main housing. The nosecone is removable from the front end of the main housing. The main housing is watertight when the nosecone is removed therefrom.

Abstract: A seat is designed for use in a boat and extends in a vertical height direction, a lateral width direction, and a depth direction perpendicular to the width direction. The seat includes a pan main body extending in at least the width direction and the depth and a back main body coupled to the pan main body and extending in at least the width direction and the height direction. The pan main body and/or the back main body is formed from a single extrusion having a uniform cross section in one if the height, width, and depth directions. The pan main body and/or the back main body has an open profile when viewed in the one of the height, width, and depth directions. The open profile is configured to accept and hold a further seat component therein.
