  • Patent number: 11923916
Abstract: A system for transmitting power and data between two circuit boards may include a fixed circuit board having a primary coil and a rotatable circuit board having a secondary coil. The system may further include a sensor in communication with the secondary coil of the rotatable circuit board. The fixed circuit board's primary coil may be inductively coupled to the secondary coil and may provide power and receive data from the sensor when inductively coupled to the secondary coil.

  • Patent number: 11874593
Abstract: A vehicular camera assembly includes a lens barrel accommodating at least an outer lens element and an inner lens element. An imager printed circuit board (imager PCB) includes an imager disposed at a side. The lens barrel is disposed at the housing such that the imager is aligned with the inner lens element and the outer lens element, with the inner lens element disposed closer to the imager than the outer lens element. A vacuum exists in a space between the outer lens element and the inner lens element to thermally insulate an outer surface of the outer lens element from an inner surface of the inner lens element. Light passing through the outer lens element, the vacuum, and the inner lens element is imaged by the imager.

  • Patent number: 8869672
Abstract: A feed assembly of an assault rifle for feeding rounds of ammunition to a firing chamber includes an ammunition feed that is cooperable with the firing chamber. The ammunition feed simultaneously receives a magazine biased to deliver rounds of ammunition to the firing chamber and a belt feed system for feeding belted rounds of ammunition to the firing chamber. A selector is interconnected to a pawl and a magazine cover. The selector simultaneously actuates the pawl and the magazine cover alternately opening and closing the pawl and the magazine cover for selectively feeding rounds of ammunition from the belt feed system or the magazine into the firing chamber.

  • Publication number: 20030058158
Abstract: A radar device for measuring the surface velocity of water moving in a horizontal plane in which the radar device is positioned above or below the horizontal plane. The radar device includes a tilt sensor, or accelerometer, to measure the angle of tilt of the radar device with respect to a target point located at a distance from the radar device. The accelerometer generates a signal representing the tilt angle. A processor in the radar device calculates the cosine correction factor that is applied to the measured velocity of the target point. This results in an automatically corrected measured velocity being displayed on the radar device.

  • Patent number: 5853169
Abstract: A vacuum pod system for supporting a workpiece. A work table is provided with a shouldered opening formed therein in communication with a vacuum source. A pod is provided having a first longitudinal portion of a first outside diameter which seats on the shoulder in the opening, and a second longitudinal portion for supporting the workpiece, the second portion having a second outside diameter unequal to the first diameter. A passageway extends through the pod for providing communication between the first and second portions so that when the workpiece is supported on the second portion, a vacuum generated by the vacuum source creates a suction force which secures the workpiece to the pod.
