  • Patent number: 11126792
Abstract: A collaborative content management system receives, from a client device having access to an account associated with the collaborative content management system, a request for versions of a collaborative document managed by the collaborative content management system. The collaborative content management system accesses a set of versions of the collaborative document. The set of versions includes at least one offline version. The at least one offline version was created on a client device having access to the collaborative document while the client device was disconnected from the collaborative content management system and synchronized to the collaborative content management system when the client device is connected to the collaborative content management system. The collaborative content management system generates a user interface providing the set of versions.

  • Patent number: 10868784
Abstract: A collaborative content item includes an ordered set of comment threads that each correspond to a portion of the collaborative content item. When a user requests that a first new comment be displayed, a first comment thread including the first new comment is displayed within a comment interface. When the user interacts with a new comment interface element, a second comment thread including a second new comment is displayed within the comment interface and a count of remaining new comments displayed within the new comment interface element is decremented. The user can also navigate between comment threads by interacting with the comment interface in a first direction (e.g., swiping, scrolling, selecting an interface element) and can navigate within a comment thread by interacting with the comment interface in a second direction.

  • Patent number: 10810363
Abstract: A collaborative content management system enables users to selectively create threads and comments linked to specific portions of an image. An image comment may be indicated by a tag displayed at the location based on the specific portion of the image and having an identifier of the thread. Tags for image comments may be clustered together. When an image having image comments is replaced by a replacement image, the tags from the image may be transferred from the image to the replacement image and displayed at the same relative positions in the replacement image as positioned in the original image.

  • Patent number: 10791071
Abstract: A collaborative content management system enables users to selectively create file-level comments, in addition to content level comments, in collaborative content items. A file-level comment can be created in a number of different ways, including creating a comment associated with a title, header, heading, or other designated portion of the content; by designating a message associated with sharing the content item as a file-level comment; by replaying via a messaging system to a message sharing the content item; or by including a file-level primitive in the content of a comment. A file-level comment may be indicated in the collaborative content item by visually distinguishing formatting of a title, header or other portion of the content item. A file-level comment may be displayed in a visually distinctive manner, such as with specified formatting or in a specific window pane apart from content level comments.
