Abstract: A foot actuated quick locking apparatus is disclosed herein which is configured to quick lock a door during an emergency situation. The foot actuated quick locking apparatus comprises a spring loaded bolt, a sleeve, and a lever member. The spring loaded bolt is mounted at a bottom section of a door, and the sleeve positioned on the floor, where the sleeve is axially aligned to receive the spring loaded bolt when the door is in closed position. The lever member is connected to the spring loaded bolt, where a user is configured to actuate the lever member via foot to quick release the spring loaded bolt. The spring loaded bolt is received within the sleeve to quick lock the door.

The system further includes an insert configured to be coupled to the body and cause the seal to sealingly engage a pipe received through the body, wherein the seal is configured to enable the sealingly engaged pipe to be oriented in a non-parallel position with respect to a central axis of the body.

The outer body includes at least two releasably attachable portions, at least one of which is movable relative to the other in a radial direction thereof. The inner body and the outer body are configured to define a gap therebetween when coupled to the piping system such that the gap is generally sealed and in communication with the interstitial space.

Abstract: Tables of connectivity between nodes of two discrete types can be generated for edge nodes existing at the periphery of a network of nodes. Connectivity queries are initiated at one of an interior node type and then traverse in a first direction towards one edge node type and then in a second direction towards the other edge node type. The traversals to the second edge node type are skipped if it is determined that there is no connectivity to the nodes on the first type of edge nodes. In addition, check tables of known connectivity between node types may be populated so that the same connectivity traversal is not attempted more than once. The number of connectivity traversals and the associated time costs can be significantly reduced when compared to conventional connectivity mapping techniques.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for mapping a storage environment. An identification module identifies a first controller defined storage unit. A test module tests for a second controller defined storage unit corresponding to the first controller defined storage unit. In one embodiment, the second controller defined storage unit is a virtualized instance of the first controller defined storage unit. In an alternate embodiment, the first controller defined storage unit is a virtualized instance of the second controller defined storage unit. A flag module flags the first controller defined storage unit if there is a second controller defined storage unit corresponding to the first controller defined storage unit. In one embodiment, a monitor module monitors the status of each unflagged defined storage unit in the storage environment. In addition, a report module may report the status of each unflagged defined storage unit.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are provided for configuring a network feature for a network fabric. The apparatus includes an input module, a discovery module, a selection module and an assignment module. The input module receives a network feature configuration for a network fabric. The discovery module determines the network feature capabilities of each of a plurality of agents coupled to the network fabric. The selection module selects a preferred agent from the plurality of agents. The assignment module assigns the preferred agent to apply the network feature configuration to the network fabric through a management interface coupling the preferred agent to the network fabric.

Abstract: A hinge conduit casing is provided for protecting and concealing service conduits passing from a refrigerator frame to a door mounted pivotally thereto. The casing comprises a pocket and an angular guide slidably engageable into the pocket. The pocket is affixed to the frame and the angular guide is mounted to the door. The angular guide has a pivot end mounted pivotally to the door and a receiving end insertable into the pocket. When the door is opened at an angle relative to the frame, the receiving end of the angular guide remains, at least in part, in the pocket to conceal and protect the service conduits passing therethrough.

Abstract: An example of a method for assigning storage includes receiving a request for storage, wherein the request includes a requested amount of storage space and connectivity information. This example of the method also includes identifying storage that is accessible by a requesting device based on the connectivity information, and identifying all LUNs that are masked from all hosts, in the identified storage. This example of the method further includes selecting at least one identified LUN, and assigning the at least one selected LUN to the requesting device.

Abstract: An example of a method for assigning a resource (for example, storage) includes receiving a request for a resource, wherein the request includes a list of paths. This example also includes retrieving a HardwareAccount, Controller, and an AccessAuthorization object for a first path in the list of paths. This example further includes making an attach device request to a CIMOM for a first available resource, using the Controller and the AccessAuthorization object. This example also includes determining if the first available resource was successfully attached, and if so, recording the assignment as successful, and if not, rolling back all assignments for the first available resource that were previously recorded as successful. Another aspect of the invention is a method for creating at least one LUN.

Information is received from host systems identifying storage units the host systems access through at least one identified storage system. The at least one storage system is probed to determine storage units available through the storage system and an identifier of the storage system. The information received from the host systems on storage units the host systems access and the information probed from the at least one storage system on the storage units available through the storage system are processed to determine an association of host systems to storage units for the at least one storage system.
