  • Publication number: 20240254107
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to compounds that bind to a target RNA molecule, such as a TPP riboswitch, compositions comprising the compounds, and methods of making and using the same. The compounds contain two structurally different fragments that allow for binding with the target RNA at two different binding sites thereby producing a higher affinity binding ligand compared to compounds that only bind to a single RNA binding site.

  • Patent number: 7894344
Abstract: A system coupled between at least one input port and at least one output port comprises at least one queue, each queue being identified by a QID and operable to receive and buffer data in at least one service flow from the at least one input port. The system further comprises a predetermined at least one token allocated to each queue, each token indicative whether a predetermined amount of data may be dequeued from a queue and transmitted to the output port. The system comprises at least one group of queues where each queue in the group has a subordinate QID identifying a subordinate queue in the group having a lower priority for reallocating unused tokens. The at least one output port receives at least one output flow comprising the dequeued data from the at least one queue.

  • Publication number: 20100031587
Abstract: The present invention relates to a floor pier support and, in particular, to a pier support which allows for in-situ height adjustment of a floor frame mounted thereabove. In particular, the pier support includes a base adapted to be fixed to said surface, a connection member including a first and a second attachment means, the first attachment means used to fix the connection member to a frame element, and the second attachment means being connectable to the base in a configuration which facilitates height adjustment of the frame relative to the base. The pier support of the present invention provides for a strong, robust support for floor frames and is advantageous in that the height of the frame can be easily adjusted at regular intervals post-construction, for maintenance purposes, or for height re-adjustment where for example the ground has subsided over time.

  • Publication number: 20050261069
Abstract: A golf club face position detection system incorporates a light beam reflected off the face of a golf club as the face strikes the ball which activates a circuit to capture the image of the reflected light beam against a target area thereby indicating horizontal and vertical angulation of the face at or near the time of ball contact.

  • Patent number: 6944172
Abstract: Provided are a system and method for time-based scheduling in a communications environment. In one example, the method includes assigning at least one token to each of multiple active queues during a predefined period of time. Each token authorizes an amount of data to be dequeued from the queue. The method also includes waiting until the end of the predefined period of time before starting a new round of assigning. At least one of the queues is nominated based on the token assigned to the queue, where the nomination authorizes the dequeuing of the amount of data from the queue. The nomination is sent to a memory system to dequeue the data and send the data to a network uplink.

  • Patent number: 6888798
Abstract: Provided are a system and method for transferring management channel information (inband or using path overhead) over a synchronous optical network (SONET). In one example using inband management information, the method includes encapsulating management information in an internet protocol (IP) packet and encapsulating the IP packet in an Ethernet frame. The Ethernet frame is tagged with a management tag to differentiate the frame from the data traffic sent via the network.
