Patent number: 12203770Abstract: A haptic navigation system is disclosed, comprising a haptic navigation device with one or more sensors, including an angular sensor, to detect the angle between the device's orientation and a target. The system also includes a vibration motor that generates haptic feedback based on mapped patterns derived from the device's orientation relative to the target. A central processing unit (CPU) interprets the angular data from the sensor, translates it into dynamic haptic patterns, and controls the vibration motor accordingly. The system further includes a memory to store the mapping of the dynamic haptic patterns and a graphic user interface (GUI) to interact with the haptic feedback. This haptic navigation system provides users with tactile guidance and enhances their interaction with electronic devices.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 2024Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Inventor: Kevin Yoo

Patent number: 9122671Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to the testing of a system that includes software or hardware components. In some embodiments, a testing framework generates a set of test cases for a system under test using a grammar. Each test case may perform an action, such as provide an input to the system under test, and result in an output from the system under test. The inputs and outputs are then compared to the expected results to determine whether the system under test is performing correctly. Prior to generating the set of test cases from the grammar, the testing framework processes the grammar to identify attributes of the test cases to be derived from the grammar and facilitates the modification of the grammar.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 2014Date of Patent: September 1, 2015Inventors: Nathan John Walter Kube, Daniel Hoffman, Kevin Yoo
