  • Publication number: 20070094996
Abstract: A trim piece for installing at a corner, either inside or outside, which has a bullnose corner bead. An exemplary embodiment of the trim piece includes a body that wraps over the convexly curved portion of the bullnose corner bead and at least one flange extending parallel to the edges of the flanges of the corner bead. The two flanges are attached to the trim piece at the two edges respectively. The trim piece has an interior surface matching closely the exterior surface of the corner bead and an exterior surface which is both convexly curved to match the convex bullnose corner bead and molded to match the exterior profile of the trim such that a smooth transition from trim board around the corner to the outer trim board results.

  • Publication number: 20070050621
Abstract: A method for prohibiting an unauthorized component from functioning with a host device is disclosed. The method includes reading key information from a component and inputting the key information into an algorithm to generate a first identifier. In addition, the method includes detecting a coupling between the component and a host device running the algorithm to generate a second identifier. Further, the method includes comparing the first identifier to the second identifier, and if the first identifier matches with the second identifier, then the component will be allowed to function with the host device; and if the first identifier does not match with the second identifier, then the component will be prohibited from functioning with the host device.

  • Publication number: 20070017138
Abstract: A receiving brace is provided adapted to receive at least a portion of a weapon, having an upper side, a lower side, a forward end, a rear end, a first side and a second side. The receiving brace is at least partially open at its upper side for receiving a portion of the weapon. The receiving brace is adapted to receive a portion of the hand of a user grasping the weapon within the receiving brace at its rear end. At least one retaining element is provided adjacent the rear end of the receiving brace, the retaining element adapted to extend from the first side to the second side of the receiving brace, and adapted to assist in securing the hand of a user gripping the weapon within the receiving brace.

  • Publication number: 20060054851
Abstract: A solenoid valve is provided generally including a bobbin for supporting a coil and a core located adjacent to the bobbin. An armature is movably disposed relative to the core. A plunger is coupled to the armature and movable with the armature. A seal is coupled to the plunger, with the seal movable between an open position and a closed position sealingly engaged with a valve seat. The solenoid valve further includes a plunger damper which includes a resilient feature that is configured to engage the plunger when the seal moves toward the closed position. The plunger damper may damp, or cushion, any impact between the seal and the valve seat.

  • Publication number: 20060005102
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method for finding duplex mismatches in a copper based network, includes: detecting late collisions and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) errors; if a port is in auto-negotiation and up in half-duplex and over threshold late collisions have been detected, then informing the user of a duplex mismatch and suggesting to the user to set the port to full duplex; and if the port is in forced full-duplex mode and over threshold CRC errors have been detected, then informing the user of a duplex mismatch and suggesting to the user to set the port to auto-negotiations mode.

  • Publication number: 20050258245
Abstract: Transaction tokens (“fobs”) having wireless functionality and methods of using the same are provided. More specifically, fobs are provided having radio frequency functionality such that information, such as payment information, identification information, or other like information, may be wirelessly transmitted from a memory within the fob to a receiver. The fobs provided herein may comprise a microchip or other memory means, and/or antenna disposed on or within an insert and encased within an enclosure in an interior compartment. The fobs may be provided with a quick-release mechanism for easily attaching to and detaching from a securing means, such as a keychain or the like. Moreover, the interior compartments of the fobs may be easily accessible for replacing the insert contained therein.

  • Publication number: 20050137718
Abstract: The present provides a method, system, and program product for rendering state diagrams for a multi-dimensional enterprise architecture. The rendered state diagrams illustrate the actual or planned use, assignment, retirement, interdependence, etc., of enterprise elements in a multi-dimensional enterprise architecture within a user-specified time frame, from a user selected frame of reference, for a user-specified business scope. The method comprises: defining a plurality of objects, wherein each of the objects represents an element of the enterprise architecture; defining a plurality of relationships, wherein each of the relationships is between one of the plurality of objects and another of the plurality of objects; and rendering the at least one state diagram based upon the plurality of objects, the plurality of relationships, and a frame of reference.

  • Publication number: 20050050906
Abstract: A method for conditioning air for an enclosure in which a supply air stream is cooled with a refrigerant system containing a variable compressor by passing the air over a cooling coil to reduce the temperature thereof; the thus cooled supply air stream is then passed through a segment of a rotating desiccant wheel under conditions which increase its temperature and reduce its moisture content, and then delivered to the enclosure. The desiccant wheel is regenerated by heating a regeneration air stream with the condensing coil of the refrigerant system, and then passing the heated regeneration air stream through another segment of the rotating desiccant wheel. At least one condition of the supply air stream, the regeneration air stream, and/or the refrigerant system is sensed or monitored and the output of the compressor is controlled in response to the sensed condition.
