  • Publication number: 20180034267
Abstract: An energy storage and power supply device includes an energy storage unit, a sensor, an output, a regulator, and a processing circuit. The energy storage unit is configured to store electrical energy. The sensor is positioned to acquire data indicative of an operating characteristic of the energy storage unit. The output is coupled to the energy storage unit and configured to provide power from the energy storage unit to a load. The regulator is positioned along a power flow path between the energy storage unit and the output. The regulator is configured to facilitate selectively restricting a power flow provided to the output.
