  • Publication number: 20190107107
Abstract: A modular pump housing includes: a pumping chamber, substantially cylindrical about a pumping axis and including an opening for the insertion of a piston and a base opposite the opening; a face suitable for attaching a fluid interface thereto; and a conduit connecting the base with the face. Using a further disclosed process, the diameter of the chamber can be selected during manufacture without changing the external measurements of the body. A solenoid valve can be attached using the fluid interface. If a solenoid valve is not used, an additional conduit is provided through a sidewall of the chamber for connecting the latter with the fluid interface.

  • Patent number: 7507377
Abstract: This invention relates to a device usable in an automatical apparatus for the determination of the rate of change of the physical state of a medium. This device has a series of cuvettes having two opposites shoulders which extend in the plane of the opening of the cuvette and a flexible film which is fixed on the shoulders. This film is provided with a series of oblong opening respectively arranged above the cuvette openings. An optical detection station is provided which has a light source generating a light beam which illuminates the upper face of the cuvette bowls and an optoeleclectronic detector placed below the bottom of the bowls.

  • Patent number: 7470402
Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic precision pipetting device. The inventive device comprises at least two cylinder/piston-type pumping units (1, 2), the rods of which are rotated by means of a common motor unit (MP). Moreover, the pumping chamber of each of the pumping units (1, 2) is connected to a circuit comprising, successively, a conduit that opens into a container of rinsing liquid (RL), three successive solenoid valves (EV1, EV2, EV3) and a portion of circuit which connects the second solenoid valve (EV2) with the pipetting means (AP). The larger pumping chamber is connected in the part of the circuit that provides the connection between the two solenoid valves (EV1, EV2) while the second pumping chamber is connected to the above-mentioned portion of circuit by means of a connector, said portion of circuit comprising a solenoid valve (EV3) which is disposed between said connector and the aforementioned pipetting means.

  • Publication number: 20050175502
Abstract: The invention relates to a device comprising a series of single-use cuvettes (C), each with a base, an upper face opposite said base with an opening and two opposing flanges (R<sb>1</sb>, R<sb>2</sb>) which each extend from the cuvette essentially in the plane of the opening. Said cuvettes are arranged side by side and fixed to each other by means of a flexible film (3) fixed to said flanges (R<sb>1</sb>, R<sb>2</sb>) and at least partially covering the openings of said cuvettes (C). Said film is provided with a series of openings (4) respectively arranged to the right of said openings on said cuvettes. The above finds application in an automatic analytical apparatus, particularly for the determination of the rate of change of the physical state of a medium.
