Publication number: 20190043500Abstract: A method for unsupervised automated event detection from multimedia based on parsing an audio stream in real-time. Audio mining techniques are used along with speech recognition software to extract customized keywords that are specific to the application. Machine learning and knowledge-based techniques are used to remove any ambiguity in converted text to achieve high accuracy in keyword detection, and to perform disambiguation of polysemous terms. Knowledge graph and rule based intelligent software generates events by analyzing the stream of keywords. Events are transformed into customized reports based on the application. The system also predicts a personalized future event considering the current and historical domain-specific data along with local (personal) and contextual (ambient) data using an artificial neural network. Events may be video-recorded with a system for automated unsupervised video capture of the events from one or more video streams without manual panning or zooming of a video camera.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 2, 2018Publication date: February 7, 2019Inventors: Khalid Mahmood MALIK, Khalid MIRZA, Neil DUEWEKE

Publication number: 20150187032Abstract: A system and method for associating a patient with professional services, such as attorney and physician, that are required due to injury or other calamities, such as auto accidents or home fire. The patient data is compared to criteria entered by the professional service providers. Upon agreement between the parties, an LOP is generated. The patient's claim is tracked until it is finalized. The service provider is then notified that the case is ended and contingency fees, if any, are due. In an alternative embodiment, an insurance company is a party. The insurance company may use the system to verify that services are rendered and appointments kept.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 31, 2013Publication date: July 2, 2015Inventors: Khalid Mirza, Huntly G. Patent number: 6341246Abstract: An object oriented motion system for controlling the movement of a robotic manipulator is presented. The motion system includes a trajectory generator object for producing a stream of machine joint commands. A kinematics object is operable to provide a set of robotic arm specific functions for the trajectory generator object. A servo object provides an interface to the servo system. The stream of machine motor commands are converted by the servo object to a stream of signals that drive the servo system, thereby controlling the trajectory of the robot arm.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 1999Date of Patent: January 22, 2002Assignee: KUKA Development Laboratories, Inc.Inventors: Michael D. Patent number: 6317651Abstract: A trajectory generation system is provided for operating a robot in response to a motion command. The robot is a multi-jointed manipulator with an end-effector that traverses a trajectory. A Cartesian trajectory generator converts the motion command into a requested Cartesian positions vector and a requested Cartesian velocities vector. A Jacobian matrix of the manipulator defines the relationship between the manipulator joint velocities vector and the manipulator Cartesian velocities vector. A requested joint velocities vector is computed from the requested Cartesian velocities vector by way of the inverse of the Jacobian matrix. The requested joint velocities vector defines a planned state vector for the manipulator.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 1999Date of Patent: November 13, 2001Assignee: Kuka Development Laboratories, Inc.Inventors: Michael D. Gerstenberger, David M. Martin, Khalid Mirza, El-Houssaine Waled
