Abstract: A caching method, system, and computer program product include compiling a combined action of a social interaction with a sharing of an object via a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) in real-time and from an offline database, extracting semantic information from the combined action, describing the semantic information of the combined action as an embedding of the object in a general object vector space, and creating a caching policy for access to the object based on a prediction of an access time derived from the general object vector space and the description of the combined action.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods and systems directed towards implementing scene tagging. In particular, scene tagging is used to characterize user generated content associated with gameplay information associated with video games. Exemplary user generated content include video recordings or screenshots from within the video game that pertain to events that have occurred. Corresponding metadata would then be used to describe substantive aspects about the user-generated content such as details about where the recording or screenshot was taken, who was included in the user-generated content, and what objects are found in the user-generated content. The associated metadata would 1) allow users to search among various uploaded user generated content and 2) search within portions of those use-generated content for particular sub-sections of interest. Furthermore, the metadata associated with the user-generated content would allow viewers to experience the same events that were recorded.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods and system for personalizing user experience in a gaming network. In particular, the user experience is personalized based on how users are characterized based on their interactions with the gaming network. By using the characterizations, the users are assigned labels that publicly identify the user experience, interest, and proficiency with various video games. Communities are then established based on users having the same labels. Lastly, user generated content can be characterized and promoted based on the characterizations to the appropriate communities.

Abstract: A multi-level rectifier is presented that is suitable for use at high frequencies, including into MHz range such as in the 6.78 MHz band used for wireless power transfer. Depending on the amplitude of the input waveform, the rectifier can be operated in different modes. For lower input levels, the rectifier acts as a voltage doubler. For higher input levels, the impedance of the rectifier can be varied based on the input level. The rectifier is a synchronous rectifier with a front section and a back section, where the impedance is varied by changing the phase of the control signal of the back section relative to that of the front section.

Abstract: A wireless mesh network is configured. Each node is configured to function as either a gateway node or a relay node. To configure itself as a gateway node, an access node selects an SSID for each of its wireless interfaces that indicates it is an access node. When a relay access node is configuring itself, it scans for the SSIDs of available networks. The SSIDs of the mesh network are selected to indicate the number of other access points between a given access node and a direct wired connection (which is zero in the case of a gateway node.) The relay access node connects to the network having an SSID that indicates the fewest number of hops between itself and a direct wired connection. The SSID that is broadcast by the relay access node indicates the number of other access points between itself and a direct wired connection.

In another example, a Euclidean distance model and/or a correlation coefficient model may be used to identify a faulty electrical conductor connection. In this way, failure and/or potential failure of the electrical component may be predicted.

The alignment systems can contain an electromagnetic radiation transmitter (or receiver) that is associated with the x-ray detector and an electromagnetic radiation receiver (or transmitter) that is associated with the x-ray source. Electromagnetic radiation produced by the electromagnetic radiation transmitter can be detected by the receiver and used to align the x-ray source and the x-ray detector in the x-ray device. In some configurations, the electromagnetic radiation transmitter contains a radio-frequency (RF) antenna (or antenna array) that is attached in a fixed position relative to the x-ray detector and the electromagnetic radiation receiver also contains an RF antenna (or antenna array) that is in a fixed position relative to the x-ray detector.
