Abstract: In some implementations, a network device may receive, from a server, video traffic associated with an application, wherein the application is associated with a video content provider. The network device may detect whether the application utilizes an adaptive bitrate to provide the video traffic, based on a bitrate associated with the video traffic in relation to a maximum bitrate. The network device may assist a remediation based on whether the application utilizes the adaptive bitrate.

Abstract: A device may receive, from a service provider, a network address associated with a request for a service. The request for the service may be provided to the service provider by a user equipment associated with a network device. The device may receive, from the service provider, a query for a geolocation of the network device, and may determine the geolocation of the network device based on the network address. The device may provide the geolocation of the network device to the service provider.

Abstract: A device may receive, from a packet probe, an uplink packet flow provided to a base station by a user equipment, and may add bytes for packets of the uplink packet flow in each scheduling interval of multiple scheduling intervals. The device may group the packets into bursts based on the multiple scheduling intervals and based on adding the bytes for the packets, and may calculate a transfer speed of each of the bursts. The device may calculate a maximum transfer speed for the bursts based on the transfer speed of each of the bursts, and may calculate a congestion delay for each of the bursts based on the maximum transfer speed for the bursts. The device may perform one or more actions based on the congestion delay for each of the bursts.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for utilizing designed market access (DMA) zones in conjunction with mobile networks so as to enable secure, appropriate read/write access to streaming content. The disclosed systems and methods enable a mapping of an Internet Protocol (IP) address to a particular geolocation node of a mobile network, whereby a DMA for such node can be identified/determined. Accordingly, the DMA can be leveraged for monitoring a customer user's location respective to streaming service/media access requests.

Abstract: A device may collect network performance data associated with a user equipment of a network. The network performance data may include information associated with a plurality of performance indicators of the network. The device may process information associated with a first portion of the plurality of performance indicators to determine a first performance category experience score, and information associated with a second portion of the plurality of performance indicators to determine a second performance category experience score. The device may process the first performance category experience score and the second performance category experience score to determine a network experience score. The device may determine whether the network experience score satisfies a threshold value. The device may perform one or more actions based on determining that the network experience score satisfies the threshold value.
