  • Publication number: 20190032273
Abstract: A textile structure including one or more layers of warp yarns interwoven with one or more layers of weft yarns, a durable thermoregulating coating, and a binder that chemically bonds the durable thermoregulating coating to the textile structure. The warp yarns and/or weft yarns include polyester yarns. A method for manufacturing a textile structure includes weaving one or more layers of warp yarns with one or more layers or weft yarns to form a woven textile structure, brushing the textile structure at least two times, applying a binder to the textile structure, and applying a durable thermoregulating coating to the textile structure such that the binder chemically bonds the durable thermoregulating coating to the textile structure. The method may also include heat setting and curing the textile structure to fix the durable thermoregulating coating permanently onto the textile structure.

  • Publication number: 20170188727
Abstract: Contour sheets or fitted sheets having a mattress cover surface and a plurality of side surfaces are provided with at least one resilient member extendible in a vertical direction along the depth of a mattress in at least a portion of one of the side surfaces. Alternatively, sets of resilient members sandwiched between one or more layers of fabrics can be provided to prevent direct exposure to heat and other detrimental conditions that the contour sheets may be subjected to during routine wear and laundry. A method of making such contour sheets can include steps of cutting a generally polygonal shaped cut-out to form an opening at the corners of a base fabric, coupling at least one resilient member along at least one edge of the opening and sewing adjacent edges of the opening together.

  • Patent number: 9646386
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for generating superpixels for a sequence of frames. A feature space of the sequence of frames is separated into a color subspace and a spatial subspace. A clustering is then performed in the spatial subspace on a frame basis. In the color subspace a clustering is performed on stacked frames. An erroneous temporal consistency of a superpixel associated to a frame is detected by performing a similarity check between a corresponding superpixel in one or more past frames and one or more future frames using two or more metrics. The affected superpixels is future frames are corrected accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20170042350
Abstract: A pillow is provided with an insert or inner pillow that is removable. Having removable insert or inner pillow enables filling of the removable inner pillow with a different filling material that is not amenable to washing. Thus the outer pillow that is in contact with a person's body and tends to accumulate dust and microbes among the fill can be washed after removal of the insert or inner pillow. The insert or inner pillow can be filled with a less expensive filling material such as synthetic fibers, viscoelastic foam, latex etc. whereas the outer pillow can have a superior quality filling material that is softer, fluffier and has better insulating properties such as down or down mixed/blended with feather, thus providing an affordable pillow with comfort and superior characteristics of down and can be laundered to maintain hygiene. The outer surface of the inner pillow may include a fluid impermeable material.

  • Publication number: 20160338513
Abstract: Duvet inserts are provided with at least two chamfered or beveled corners to prevent overhanging of the corners. Additional drag caused by the overhanging corners and frequent handling of duvet inserts by the corners causes migration of fillers contained therein and this is mitigated by the chamfered corners. Again, sectional barriers, preferably by stitching zigzag, waves or triangle wave stitches along the periphery of duvet inserts are capable of minimizing migration of fillers. Furthermore, quilted or line stitches on at least two corners can also be provided to contain the fillers. Duvet inserts of the present disclosure are durable and chamfered corners provide a neat and tailored look thereby enhancing bed presentation and also avert accidents such as tripping over the overhanging portion.

  • Publication number: 20160273135
Abstract: Embodiments described herein generally relate to textile structures comprising core spun yarns, and associated methods for manufacturing. One example embodiment is a textile structure including one or more layers of warp yarns interwoven with one or more layers of weft yarns, wherein at least one of the one or more layers of warp yarns and one or more layers of weft yarns include one or more core spun yarns.
