    Abstract: Provides is a variable displacement swash plate type compressor comprising a drive shaft, a lug plate fixedly installed at one side of the drive shaft, a swash plate dispose at another side of the drive shaft and rotated by the lug plate to vary a tilt angle thereof, a sleeve reciprocally moving along the drive shaft to let the swash plate rotate, and a spring supported between the sleeve and the lug plate, characterized in that the variable displacement swash plate type compressor comprises a restriction ring installed around the drive shaft between the lug plate and the sleeve to contact with the swash plate at a maximum tilt angle of the swash plate, wherein an end of the restriction ring is contacted with the lug plate and another end of the restriction ring is supported by the spring. Thus, since the direct contact between the swash plate and the lug plate is prevented, when the swash plate reaches at the maximum tilt angle, it is possible to reduce the noise and the wear remarkably.

    Abstract: According to the present invention, a reciprocating compressor with a rotary valve comprises a cylinder block with plural cylinder bore, a drive shaft which is supported and permitted to rotate in relation to the cylinder block, a piston which is housed in the cylinder bore and allowed to reciprocate therein, a power transmitting unit which connects the piston and drive shaft, a rear housing wherein an intake chamber and exhaust chamber are formed, and a rotary valve which rotates with the drive shaft and is installed in the inner surface of a coupling hole formed in the cylinder block and permitted to slide and rotate therein. In the inner circumference of the cylinder block, connection holes are respectively connected to the cylinder bore. A bypass unit is included between the coupling hole and rotary valve and bypasses the refrigerant remaining in the connection hole of one cylinder bore during the compressive stroke of the piston, then discharges it through the connection hole of another cylinder bore.

    Abstract: A speech recognition method for a robot. The speech recognition method for the robot includes one fundamental acoustic model. Whenever the noisy environment and the speaker are changed, the speech recognition method generates a plurality of parallel acoustic models in which the characteristic for each noisy environment and the characteristic for each speaker are reflected. As a result, the speech recognition method for the robot can freely recognize one of several acoustic models according to individual environments and speakers, such that it can basically remove mismatch between the model training environment and the test environment, thereby improving speech recognition capabilities.
