    Abstract: A buckle arranged to connect a band member to a connected member includes a base having an attaching portion for the connected member, a base portion, and opposing lever member supporting portions projecting from the base portion. A lever member is rotatably attached to the base, and includes a combined portion and an operating portion extending from the combined portion. The operating portion includes a slit through which the band member is allowed to pass. The lever member further includes a clamping portion protruding from the combined portion in a direction different from the operating portion. The clamping portion is configured to clamp the band member, which passes between the base portion and the combined portion, to the base portion by a rotation of the lever member towards the base.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a release buckle for coupling or decoupling a band used in a bag, a sack, clothing and the like for carrying articles, which includes a fixing base formed with protrusion parts on both sides of a front surface thereof with fitting hook guide coupling grooves, and a fitting hook inserted into a lower part of the fixing base to be positioned in the fixing base entirely, wherein the releasing work for releasing the holding state of the fitting hook by using fingers, which has been carried out in the prior art release buckle in advance to separate the fitting hook from the fixing base, is not necessary any more, especially, it becomes possible to couple or decouple the fitting hook with or from the fixing base conveniently while wearing thick gloves in winter time, the coupling state between the fitting hook and the fixing base may be kept more stably, and an entire area of the release buckle in the coupled state may be reduced, creating compact and clean images.
