Abstract: A door latch apparatus for a vehicle may include an open lever and a release lever rotatably coupled to a base plate, an interlocking lever rotatably coupled to the base plate and having a pushing protrusion, an operating lever provided on the base plate wherein the operating lever includes a second slot formed in a medial portion of the operating lever, and a locking protrusion formed on a lower end of the operating lever and being engaged in a first slot of the release lever, wherein when the release lever rotates, the locking protrusion pushes and rotates the open lever, thus releasing the door, and an inertia lever rotatably coupled to the base plate by a rotating shaft and including an insert protrusion formed on an end of the inertia lever and being engaged to the second slot.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a latch apparatus. The latch apparatus includes: a base formed with an opening; a latch gear formed with a mounting groove to lock a striker entering the mounting groove through the opening; a pawl rotatably disposed on the base and engaging with the latch gear to prevent rotation of the latch gear; a release lever disposed to adjoin the pawl, transmitting constraint force of pressing the pawl, and rotating the pawl to release the latch gear; a support shaft secured to the base, supporting a lateral surface of the pawl and transmitting the constraint force of pressing the pawl; and a guide portion rotatably provided to the support shaft, pressed to rotate by the release lever, and guiding movement of a projection pin provided to the pawl.

Abstract: A two step link hood latch apparatus for a vehicle allows a hood to be opened only with an operation of a release handle inside a vehicle. The apparatus includes a claw, the pawl, a pivot, and a link. The claw is disposed at a base plate to be rotatable, restrains a hood striker through a stop groove, and is restrained to a pawl through first and second stop ends in first step and second step lock states. The pawl is disposed at the base plate to be rotatable, and restrains the rotation of the claw in steps by using the stop protrusion. The pivot is disposed at the base plate to be rotatable in a hinge structure, and transmits a pulling force generated from the release handle. The link connects the pivot and the pawl and rotates the pawl in linkage with the pivot.
