  • Publication number: 20240131230
Abstract: The present invention relates to an acellular skin substitute for breast reconstruction and a preparation method therefor. In the present invention, an acellular skin substitute may be prepared through the removal of epidermal layers and an acellularization process, in which the use of a proteolytic enzyme and a surfactant is excluded. In addition, since the acellular skin substitute is cut into suitable sizes and shapes to cover a breast reconstruction implant through design software and then cut out with a CNC machine, the time for breast reconstruction surgery may be reduced, and since no dead space is formed after suturing, the incidence of seromas may be reduced. Accordingly, the side effects of surgery may be lessened.

  • Publication number: 20240116398
Abstract: An electrified vehicle includes: a battery; a motor drive device configured to drive a motor through an inverter, based on a voltage of the battery; and a battery controller configured to determine whether to perform output limiting on the battery, based on whether a ratio of regenerative braking is less than or equal to a preset ratio, wherein the ratio of regenerative braking is varied according to an amount of charging of the battery and an amount of discharging of the battery within a preset time interval, and adjust, based on the output limiting being performed on the battery, a derate ratio associated with a battery output limit value.

  • Patent number: 11947104
Abstract: A spiral phase plate, according to one embodiment, for generating a Laguerre Gaussian beam by reflecting an incident beam emitted from a light source, may comprise: a first quadrant area in which the step height increase rate per unit angle decreases progressively in one direction from the point with the lowest step height to the point with the highest step height; and a second quadrant area in which the step height increase rate per unit angle increases progressively in the one direction.

  • Publication number: 20180272330
Abstract: A container for a specimen is disclosed. According to the present invention, in the container for a specimen, a specimen is stored in a first container, and a fixative is sealed and stored by a second container and a barrier film. In addition, a fixative of the second container flows into the first container in a state in which the first container and the second container are coupled to each other by means of a connection member, and thus the fixative does not leak to the outside when the fixative flows into the first container in which the specimen has been placed. Therefore, fixative leakage is relatively inhibited compared with that of a conventional specimen container in which a fixative leaks to the outside, when a specimen is put into a container main body or taken out from the container main body, and thus the present invention can have effects of enabling damage to a worker's health to be prevented as much as possible and environmental pollution to be prevented as much as possible.

  • Publication number: 20130254945
Abstract: Provided herein are isolated nucleic acid molecules representing a genetically defined region of the genome of the aphid resistant soybean plant (Glycine max) cultivar PI 200538 that confers resistance to soybean aphid (Aphis glycines). Within the region is a gene encoding the aphid resistance protein Rag2. Also provided herein are methods for conferring aphid resistance on a plant or enhancing aphid resistance in a plant by transforming it to contain and express such nucleic acid sequences encoding Rag2 aphid resistance or introgressing DNA encoding the trait into the plant by plant breeding. Further provided are polymorphic markers useful for identifying plant germplasm containing aphid resistance, and methods for using such markers.

Abstract: Provided herein are isolated nucleic acid molecules representing a genetically defined region of the genome of the aphid resistant soybean plant (Glycine max) cultivar Dowling that confers resistance to soybean aphid (Aphis glycines). Within the region is a gene encoding the aphid resistance protein Rag1. Rag1 aphid resistance amino acid sequences are also provided. Also provided herein are methods for conferring aphid resistance on a plant or enhancing aphid resistance in a plant by transforming it to contain and express such nucleic acid sequences encoding Rag1 aphid resistance or introgressing DNA encoding the trait into the plant by plant breeding. Further provided are polymorphic markers useful for identifying plant germplasm containing aphid resistance, and methods for makings such markers.
