    Abstract: An air conditioner is disclosed which includes a damper adapted to select a desired path of air humidified by a moisture release portion of a desiccant wheel in accordance with a humidification or dehumidification mode. In accordance with operation of the damper, humidified air is heat-exchanged in a heat exchanger in the dehumidification mode, so that the air is dehumidified. The dehumidified air is discharged into a room. In the humidification mode, the humidified air is directly discharged to the room. Thus, the air conditioner can be used as a humidifier or dehumidifier in accordance with a user selection.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an indoor unit in air conditioner, including two heat exchangers, a connection pipe connecting the heat exchangers, first means for guiding refrigerant flow, and second means provided to the connection pipe. The two heat exchangers, i.e., first and second heat exchangers, have one ends connected to first and second pipelines connected to parts outside of the indoor unit, for an example, a compressor or an outdoor expansion device. The first means selectively guides the refrigerant introduced thereto through the first or second pipeline to be discharged through the second or the first pipeline after being passed through both, or either of the first and second heat exchangers. The second means is provided to the connection pipe so that the refrigerant transferred from one of the first and second heat exchanger to the other one of the first and second heat exchanger is passed in an original state or in an expanded state.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for operating a multi-air conditioner in which indoor rooms can be air-conditioned above a predetermined level. The method includes the steps of: compressing refrigerant at a compressor provided in an outdoor unit and discharging the compressed refrigerant; measuring, in heating mode or cooling mode, a pressure of the refrigerant in a plurality of indoor heat exchangers side and the compressor side; and compensating for the pressure of the refrigerant in the indoor heat exchangers side in a prescribed pressure range at a control unit.
