  • Patent number: 9140515
Abstract: A compound bow has an improved vibration damping function. The compound bow includes a bow main body including a handle and a pair of limbs; upper and lower pulley assemblies each including a pulley and a cam; a bowstring; first and second cam cables that are wound around the cam of each of the upper and lower pulley assemblies as the bowstring is pulled; a bowstring support bar whose one end is coupled to the handle and whose other end is coupled to a cushioning member that contacts the bowstring; and a first cam cable anti-vibration bar including a coupling bar coupled to the handle, and an anti-vibration member that is coupled to the rear end of the coupling bar and whose rear surface contacts one of the first and second cam cables when the bowstring is released to thus return to an original position.

  • Publication number: 20100290415
Abstract: A transmission delay caused by a Bandwidth Request (BR) of a Mobile Station (MS) in a broadband wireless communication system can be avoided. An operation of the MS includes performing an initial BR to allocate resources across a plurality of frames. When a resource is allocated according to the initial BR, an adaptive BR is performed on the resource in a piggyback manner by using the resource while transmitting an acknowledge (ACK) message corresponding downlink Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) data.

  • Patent number: 7684343
Abstract: Disclosed is a device and method that relates to radio engineering and especially to data transmission in a wireless local area network. The method improves the throughput of the wireless local area network, by selecting a transmission rate, data transmission mechanism and a fragment size which maximize the network throughput considering the receiving conditions on the receiver (bit error rate in the transmitted data units of the transmitter ) and taking into account the current network loading are selected for transmission of data units.

  • Patent number: 7684439
Abstract: An apparatus and method transmits data in a communication system. A buffer descriptor (BD) generator generates a BD making reference to constituent elements constituting a MAC protocol data unit (PDU), if there is a medium access control (MAC) service data unit (SDU) to be transmitted. A direct memory access (DMA) controller generates the MAC PDU from the MAC SDU according to the BD.

  • Publication number: 20020150547
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition of a hair growth facilitator comprising camphor extract, morus bark root extract, new shoot extract of a pine tree, and fibrous biopolymer produced by silkworm cocoons. By having a superior hair growth effect without any known side effects or toxicities, the present invention can resolve the drawbacks present in the conventional compositions of hair growth facilitators and thus can be safely applied to various hair-related products such as hair tonic, hair lotion, hair cream, hair shampoo and hair conditioner.
